One of the floors is a forest. 

[For most this is a rather insignificant statement, but for someone who has never seen trees outside parks and plastic containers this is new. He is use to steel beams holding up tons concrete, not greenery or forest creatures strolling about. Old media did not prepare him for what real nature is like.

Not at all.

He does not know what to make of this discovery. It brings him no closer to finding a way out, but it is not something he can brush off as nothing. Especially seeing how the room does not meet the same measurements as the other rooms he has seen. He believes there is some explaining needing to be done because physics do not work that way.]

How in the hell does that even work?

Don't know him or what quidditch is. Sports aren't important were I'm from anyways.

[He is fairly sure that is a sport. It has cup in the name, that is a sport's thing right?]

It's from a book series. Not really relevant, just me being a doof.

Is there some reason you're so convinced it can't be magic, by the way?

Right.

It doesn't exist, that's reason enough.

Do I need to make a PSA or something?

Me. I'm a witch. If you want to see someone do magic, all you have to do is ask. And then blam, no more incongruous disbelief in the middle of the horror tower that kidnaps people from multiple dimensions.

Are you familiar with the saying of not believing anything you hear and only half of what you see? Nothing but hot air to hear someone claim there's magic. Haven't seen it and until I have, I'm not believing in it for cheap way out of explaining things.

There's nothing about magic that's cheap. It might seem like presto-chango to the rest of you, but it costs something. It always costs something.

I don't know for sure that whatever's running this place is using magic, but if they are, there's a hefty price being paid somewhere. We might even be the price ourselves. I still haven't figured out what our collars are for.
