Video - whoops this got kind of long

[Hello, network. Have a nine year old. c:]

... Um. Okay, so... I noticed that a lot of people were getting really confused!
About us, I mean. The Links around here! And that's not good, being confused about us - we didn't mean to confuse anyone!

[He gives the feed a little bow, before continuing.]

But it's okay! I'm going to explain it, now - I even have a picture! Pictures always help me understand, so I thought it would help everyone, too!

[That's when Link holds this up to the camera, smiling around it.]

See - we go really far back! The Link that came from the sky - we call him Sky so we don't get confused. But Sky was a really really old Link!
All the other Links are named after him, I think. And without even knowing it! All the Heroes throughout time are named Link, maybe!

There's probably a couple Links between Sky and the next two, but these two are who we call "Woods" and "Forest"! Forest is Woods when he's little, so I guess they're kind of the same person. They're Sky's great-great-great-great-a few more greats-grandkids! Or, um. Grandkid, I guess, since they're kind of the same person.
They're the Hero of Time, and really legendary where I come from, so be polite to them, okay? And Princess Zelda too, but everyone knows that you gotta be polite to princesses.

And uh... after they fought a big evil man called Ganondorf and sealed him away, something happened and the world got flooded, and then I was born!
Um... The King told me I'm not related to the other Links, though. I've just got the same name.
You can tell I'm not related 'cause I have green eyes, and they have blue!

[And getting all up in the feed so everyone can tell --]

See? Green.

But um - I'm the really latest Hero; the Hero of Winds! But it's not hard to understand now, right? It's a Hero thing; all Heroes are named Link! And we're not the same people, either! Except Woods and Forest, I guess. Since Forest is just Woods when he's little.

I can answer questions if people have any, too - I don't mind! I'm really nice, I promise!

[After a moment or so more of inspecting the blade, he sheathes it again, giving her a bit of a melancholy look.]

... Weren't you lonely?
It was hundreds of years before I could pull up the sword, after all...
You were there all alone for a really long time...

I was not aware of the outside world or of the time that had passed. There was no way that I could have 'felt lonely.'

[She tries to give the youngest Link a small smile, in appreciation.]

I guess so...

... But; at least you're not lonely now, right?

I have only ever considered Master Link the closest person I have to a 'friend'. I would not object to making more.

So... until now you only had one friend?

That's not good at all - having a lot of friends is a lot of fun!

We can play together and draw together and go swimming and stuff, like I do with my other friends!

If the data I have collected is correct, yes. I have only ever had one friend.

I am not sure that I would be capable of swimming. Master Link carried me within the sword when he swam.

Oh, well... I can teach you, don't worry! I'm not too good at it myself, but my big brother gave me a scale to help me swim, so I can teach you!

But it's okay if you don't want to - we can always play and draw and make stuff together!

[Oh sweet Hylia, what is this?]

You will have to show me. I was not created for anything more than guiding Her Graces Chosen Hero.

[And he's telling the truth - he ran most of the way there, and he slides around a corner, beaming when he sees Fi and runs to her.]

... You're really tall! [Whoah.]

[That is quick. And Fi is just floating near the panel to wait for him.]

Hello, young Master Link.

My size was decided on by Her Grace, I apologize if it bothers you.

No, it's okay! A lot of my friends are taller than I am - and you can call me just Link if you want!

[Hope you don't mind him taking one of your hands, Fi.]

Come on! I'll teach you how to draw and have fun and stuff!

[That someone actually found her hand under her 'wings' was surprising. And she went with it.]

[Hey, he's tiny. What do you expect?

But he leads her back to his room then, probably blabbing away the whole way there, and holds the door open for her.]

My bed's the one with the figurines and stuff on the headboard; go on, take a seat!
I've put a bunch of paper and stuff in my trunk so I can draw when I'm bored, so I'll get all that out!

[Fi looks around the room and then glides over towards his bed to inspect the figures. She doesn't sit though, that was a one time thing when she sat with Zelda on her first day in the tower. She actually had to walk on that floor.]

This is an interesting collection, Link.

[He hops onto the bed with her then, holding a bunch of paper in one hand and a few crayons in the other - but practically beams when he notices her inspecting his collection!! He loves his figurines, after all.]

They're neat, huh? I have a lot more than this, but the tower only brought these ones for some reason!
But that's okay; Sky said he'd make me more if I show him pictographs of what I want!

[... though that might be hard with one hand, hmm.]

I was not aware that Master Link made carvings.

[Why so reckless, Master Link? If Fi had been there, she'd have helped in some way.]

Mhm! The ones he makes are really good!

Not the actually bullfairy, I mean - he's asleep on top of my trunk.

[... OH yeah, he's kind of holding something -
Don't mind him, Fi - he's just going to hold all that paper and stuff up to you!!!]

My Master is quite talented it seems, beyond the skills that had assisted him in his mission.

[She slips her arms out from under her wings and plucks a crayon from his hand and looking it over.]

I have never attempted to create a visual representation of anything before. My purpose never dictated a need for it.

Well... sometimes you gotta do things just 'cause you want to, not just 'cause you need to!

[He hands her a sheet of paper to, and settles down next to her to draw a few things to demonstrate.]

I bet it won't be hard for you, Miss Fi! I'm only not very good at it because I'm little.

Because I want to?

[She accepts the paper and watches him draw for a bit. Then she sets the paper down and floats over it carefully before drawing the Kikwi, Machi with surprising skill.]

Mhm! Because you want to!

Haven't you done something just 'cause it looked fun, Miss Fi?

[Hell knows he has. Impromptu swimming, jumping off of stuff, gliding over things with his Deku Leaf...

He watches her draw though, really interested -]

I have not. It's never been necessary. I was created with the sole purpose of serving Her Graces Chosen Hero. There was no other reason for my existence.

[Okay, that might be a lie. She danced whenever she had a message from the goddess to pass onto Master Link. And she can sing.]

This is Machi, he is the most relaxed member of the herbivorous Kikwi race.

[... He might... try to draw him too, though it comes out pretty terrible.]
