[The feed flickers on, and-- yes, that most certainly is England. Or it looks sort of like him for all of two seconds before he doubles over with his head in his hands, blue and red psionic sparks crackling over his body as it shifts -- struggling between something like a tortoise shell and a werewolf, or something vaguely structured similarly to one. Spines ripple beneath his flesh and a few manage to extend outwards, easily tearing through his shirt (or what's left of it -- he's clearly been fighting with his body for quite a while now). His skin tightens over his bones and almost deadens in appearance before England finally reigns the shifting in for a moment.
He's still clutching his head with one hand, though the other has moved to his chest. Bruises show on his neck where it appears someone -- or something -- has tried to strangle him. Along with the bolts of psionic energy, wisps of fox fire occasionally burst into existence in the air around him, usually when he chokes on his own breath. With a strangled noise of pain, books come flying off the shelves behind him, thudding into a surface off-screen.
Finally, he finds it in himself to look into the camera. His eyes flicker with the alternating colours of the Vision Twofold, and at a close look, the multiple pupils of the Vision Eightfold can be found in the left eye whenever it flickers blue. His voice is hoarse when he speaks.]
Urgent assistance. Please.
[ ooc: a list of the competitors in the labyrinth, along with their powers, can be found here. as of now, it's still in-progress, but if your character was in the labyrinth and i have missed them, or the powers listed are inaccurate, please tell me so i can change it! c: also, THERE IS A REAL CHANCE THAT YOUR CHARACTER COULD GET INJURED IF THEY APPROACH ENGLAND. please be careful. ]

No time to get him water. He takes out whatever remains inside that bottle of pills and hands over three of them close to his face.]
Take these. It'll calm down whatever's trying to strangle you.

[She has to frown at the psionic energy still emanating off of him, though. That is definitely not of Persona origins...]

Thank you.
[Though before he can make sense of his own depth perception, something inside of him roars at the brunette girl's arrival. He can hear it resonate deep within his psyche, so loud that it drowns out all the other voices.
It's immediately followed by an overbearing belted chord of a harp. England's fingers close around the pills and he gives a strangled sound as Orpheus Telos bursts from his skull with the shattering of some mental barrier that's probably not meant to be shattered inside of someone who doesn't truly possess the Potential.
The singing of the harp cuts off with a metallic, unpleasant twang, as if someone had plucked a string too hard and snapped it. The gory sight of the palette-swapped Orpheus being torn apart from within by Thanatos will likely be all-too-familiar to Minako.
Though less familiar will be the sight of Thanatos rushing towards her with the intent to kill. England's on his knees trying to reign in the enraged Persona, but it's an artificial facet of a psyche that doesn't even belong to him. He's naturally having a bit of trouble.
As it turns out, Minako may not want to hover so close after all.]

The few seconds that it takes Thanatos to rush towards her, he has taken the card and sliced it with his hand, all the while himself trying to tackle Minako away before the monster's blade can touch her. The mist transforms into Augustus and it takes on the Death God head on, its lance as a shield, front legs in the air trying to kick it.
The resistances come in handy, but with the new way of calling forth Persona also comes the increased risk that each damage to it causes obvious pain in Shinjiro himself. And he can only do so much compared to someone who seems to have all of their Personas...
How did he get all of...]

And then Shinji's weight is half-crushing her as he lunges at her. She lands with a hiss, a sharp pain going up her spine. But it's nothing, it's nothing compared to what she's endured before and what Shinji is protecting her from right now.
So she grunts, hoisting him up with impressive upper arm strength before scrambling to her feet.]
Shinji, defense! Help Arthur take the pills as soon as you have an opening! I summon you, Chi You!
[The Persona emerges behind her, brandishing his blades before charging straight into Thanatos with Primal Force.]

Vaguely, England hears Shinjiro shouting to take the pills. He has no clue how he's going to do that when it hurts to even breathe, but he'll give it a shot. Unfortunately, it means he can't focus on restraining Thanatos at the same time.
He opens up his hand and places his palm to his mouth, but it's a few moments before he can make himself tilt his head back and swallow. His throat burns as they go down -- he was hoarse even before this. It doesn't normally bother him to take medicine without water, but England is really wishing he had a drink right now.
He just focuses on swallowing. Though this leaves Thanatos free to scream and raise his weapon for a Brave Blade. He clearly has no target in mind anymore.]
Can they attempt to tackle him and do an all-out attack (of just two people but shh)
Augustus! GET IN FRONT!
[It raises its front hooves, before charging, slamming right into Thanatos to throw him against a wall of books. He isn't risking an attack right now...most of them could cause England injuries and both Evil Smile and Virus Breath would provide more trouble and could cause a fear status on him...which could be terrible for all.]
COME'ON! JUST A FEW SECONDS MORE, AND THEY SHOULD KICK IN.

[Asura replaces Chi You, and he flies forward to pin Thanatos' hands against the wall.]

YOOOOLOOOOO -- I MEAN. sup guys
And it hits him, whatever's going on, that England has his Persona.
Not some fake copy, it is his Thanatos and he can TELL just by looking at its patterns and the moves it makes. If it lets loose a powerful enough attack (Megidola and Mind Charge, or really any combination), he doesn't think there will be any amount of magic to stop it. When he comes running in, he's out of breath and his Evoker is held very tightly--he's come to the fray in time to hear Shinjiro mention something 'kicking in', so he assumes it to be the Suppressors. ... Good.
Someone's given him some already, and he knows Aragaki took an abnormally high dose even compared to their usual, so it should help.
Right now he really needs to focus on-- ]
Stop!
[ --Making sure no one attacks Thanatos ANY FURTHER. This is not helping dammit. He switches to Samael, summons the winged serpent and casts a Mediarama on everyone hoping they can all just chill out for a moment, attempting to get closer to England despite Thanatos being a threat. ]
Stop attacking, you're just going to make it worse, just focus on avoiding it or playing defensive if you have to!
[ God, he isn't sure what to do right now; all he can hope is that while Shinjiro and Minako are trying to keep the Persona pinned that they don't... do any more harm. But he can't get close enough to really help, so he has to raise his voice and risk his own body, here, hoping the other will understand. ]
If you don't reign this in, you're going to end up killing us all. You need to breathe and force it away. I know it sounds hard, but if you don't, he won't stop attacking. Thanatos is sensitive to your emotional state and your thoughts, and if you get frustrated or panicked or show too much of anything, then the Persona will lash out, too.
We can worry about the rest later, just--let us try to help you, okay?

Though this Thanatos is some warped, artificial reflection of the real thing, it still seems to have some familiarity with Minato. It stills -- there's a low growl that echoes in the room, a clear warning, but Thanatos is not attacking the psyche it originated from. For now.
Perhaps it helps that England is listening attentively now that people aren't screaming and he's in slightly less pain. Still, he chokes out:] Thanatos? Isn't that--
[The Persona shifting as if on the offensive sends pain spiking through his head. He raises a hand as if to ward off the ache. Alright. No questions for now. England takes as deep a breath as he can muster. All he has to do is force his will. He's good at doing that.
He reflects on his culture, his people, his victories -- especially his victories, along the same vein of standing up to the Luftwaffe and essentially spitting in its face. He thrashes to take back custody of his mind and this monster within it.
Thanatos fights it, a reflection of England's mental fight. But he eventually forces the Persona away. He's trembling by the time he gets rid of it. Mostly because he's quickly realising:]
There are more. I can hear them. [Now that he isn't deafened by Death.]
