He had a feeling more trouble was waiting for him in the future. Why of why couldn't the kitchen have proper materials to cook with? This place was just getting on his nerves now.]

I wasn't given a detailed enough description. All I know is that the hand is large with extremely sharp claws.

I think it was the floor with the lake. It was a while ago, when I first got here.

I've seen my share of nasties with claws running around, but I didn't really stop to ask for identification...

Mm... let's see, there were some dogs with big sharp teeth and claws, but I dunno if I'd classify those as deathclaws. Oh, some clawed hands in the walls, too, those were creepy. Ah, there were some big nasty buggers, too... like dinosaurs or something. Taller than me and covered in blood. And then a critter from where I come from, all black with antennas, yellow eyes and sharp claws, but they're called Neoshadows back home, so I'm not sure that's what you're looking for.

The "dinosaur" ones, did they look like skinless lizards?

i'd look for something that looks like death walking
particularly with the deathiest parts focused on being claws

..lessee what fits that out of the monsters i've seen
there's a bunch with claws, though
like the kinda-humanoid shadowy dudes that hang out in packs
or the statues that you get near and suddenly they're like "sup i would like to kill you please comply"
and there's these other freaky things that sing rhymes at you


and then there's the gigantic skinless horror lizards
i've only seen one of those once
voting them my least favorite out of every monster ever tho gotta say

[The descriptions definitely sounded like creatures that could considering more looking into, but didn't really shout anything that mimicked the monster he was hunting.

At least until she mentioned that last one. Rare, gigantic, least favorite, all of which sounded like something he shouldn't be hunting. That meant he should question this further.]

let me dissect the description again for you

gigantic, skinless, horror, lizards

lizards can be pretty okay i mean there are some cute lizards out there
but then you add gigantic and we're getting a little worried

horror is pretty straightforward


and then we just have the skinless part and that's just a big why

Maybe I should be more specific. Did you see what it could do? Like its movements, or even if it attacked? When and where did you see it?

it was last month maybe? I'm always really foggy on the dates, but they'd have to be in parts of the tower big enough for them to move around. it was at night, duh, but..

..i'm pretty sure they can't see, but they can still track people really well.

[Can't see, yet be out at night? Meant they were blind, he thinks, though they can apparently track people, most likely through either smell or sound. And if this girl ran like he thought she did, then this was a creature anyone and everyone would run from.]

You have given me sufficient information. [Now it was time to find a large enough place, one where the creature would possibly go to. That was easier said than done though.]

theyre kind of in that freaky mysterious urban legend category of creepies.
they were mutants made by the american government for a war to spare human casualties
(in another universe not mine)
theyre hunchbacked and their skin is all gross and they have these reeeaaally long claws that can kill a man in just a few swipes!
hence their name.
theyre really strong and fast and aggressive and basically all around cheaters.
ergo the if you run into one you are sooooo dead.

idk about skinless but they are certainly reptilian in a way!
they are more humanoid than that though.
