Entry Log 1 [Video]

[The computer network is up again. Chihiro is very much on his element and has been at one of the terminals all day. He takes a break from trying to hack into the tower to make the following video message.

The video feed turns on to show a young 'girl' smiling sweetly.]

Good morning, everyone! My name is Chihiro Fujisaki and there are several things I was wondering if anyone could help me with.

Firstly, is there anyone here who could teach me some sort of self defense? I don't really mind what kind and am willing to try anything! I would just really like to be able to defend myself without having to rely on someone else all the time.

Secondly, I was told that there's someone here who can build anything. Does anyone know where I might find him or contact him?

Lastly... would anyone be willing to teach me how to cook? Just simple meals would suffice. I'm afraid the the current menu is a bit...  [too exciting for his rather delicate constitution... He laughs a bit in embarrassment.]

Hm! I do not mean to brag but I am quiet skilled in handling multiple different firearms as well as being able to simultaneously use two guns.

Really? That's amazing! I hope it's not too hard to learn though...

It depends on how skilled you are naturally and how much you want to learn. If you are not ambidextrous already it would take some time to recover from the recoil from both guns.

I see... Well, I am ambidextrous actually but I've never handled a gun before in my life.

Well if you would like, come to room 4-18 and ask for Yukio Okumura. I will lend you one of my spare guns to get used to the weight and feel of it before we actually start our lessons.

Niisan lacks the traits usually seen in most stereotypical older brothers. Most of the time people confuse me for the older and niisan as the younger.

..... Rin.... It isn't the fact that I like or dislike, niisan. Like all families there are some situations that are rather difficult to control and niisan tends to be in the thick of it....

Rin tends to be in a lot of trouble, wither it is his fault or just a bad chance of luck.

Oh! I see! So he makes you worry a lot about him? Rin-kun is lucky to have such a caring brother.

I made a promise with over father's grave, that I would protect niisan. And I will continue to do so even when our world is destroyed.

... your father... I'm sorry. Stiil, you are a very nice person, Yukio-kun. Actually, I kind of envy the 2 of you a bit now. I never really had anyone there for me... until now.

I don't think there is much about us to be envious of.

Eh? But you're both strong and there for each other...

There are other qualities to strength then just physical strength. Niisan easily beats me in strength, and emotionally. The only edge that I have is my mental strength. I am sure that you are strong in other ways.

But you are a good marksman and can even weild two guns! Surely that is a sort of physical strength as well? All... I'm really good at is programming and hacking...

It has taken me seven years to be able to manage that. While on the other hand, most of niisan's strength comes from how strongly he believes in something. Even if the matter is over something as trivial such as a broken toy or protecting something weaker then himself, niisan would be the sort of guy to throw himself head first without any thought of what is to come from his consequences.

It takes a lot of thought to become a hacker, with all the different sort of htmls and codes it is rather strenuous to remember all of it.

[he nods and considers that] But that also sounds... rather reckless, to jump into something like that without any thought of the consequences... It's also important to know how to control that strength.

That's true. Though... actually, for me, all that sort of comes naturally. I've never learnt any programming formally but the first time I saw an unfinished piece of code my father was working on, it all just made sense to me and I completed and improved it for him.
