[Hei appears on the network again, his face looking slightly brighter than it did two weeks ago. Cooking in the kitchen and wandering the tower had done wonders for his spirit, though not a whole lot. He could at least think better again, and recent activity around the tower had managed to remind him of a few things.

If the festivities are done for now, I would like to call attention back to the tower and the threats it provides regarding certain creatures here. While I hear that death has not much consequence, it is still something I am sure all of you wish to avoid regardless. [And he'll avoid going into detail as to why death should have been a big concern, mainly for mental reasons.]

Therefore, I wish to offer my services as a trainer, to those that are interested. It won't be easy, but within a few weeks, you'll be far more prepared for a fight here than you normally would. For those interested, simply contact me.

I will also be at the cafeteria regularly during lunch and dinner hours to make meals. If you wish to avoid making a hazardous meal and desire for something more edible, you can contact me.

[Always the best ways to gain information, or throw himself in danger. Either way, info of some kind could be gained.]

[There's a brief sign of surprise when Hei sees Rin of all people.]

Rin--[He quickly shakes his head.] Right, you're not the same one...

Who the hell are you?

I take it you didn't see the last network post explaining myself?

[...Not the answer he expected. He calms down - somewhat.]

Why would I? I don't look through all those posts!

[This suddenly explained the lack of responses and questions.]

You should; it's informative regarding those in the tower that do have the courage to speak.

[...Did he just call Rin a coward.]

No one's talking about anything important. 'Cept you apparently. I'd rather speak in person!

[He had not meant it that way...]

If you wish to know more, I certainly won't stop you. Where would you prefer to meet?

[Fifteen year old tempers are so unpredictable... This guy was really turning out to be the opposite of what he expected. Why was he being cooperative?]

Cafeteria. I'm headed there now. [He didn't trust any other place in the area outside of his own room.]

[After he had stormed his way towards the cafeteria did he calm down enough to assess the situation. What was he thinking, just hand-delivering himself to some random guy? Yes, he wanted to prove a point. And yes, he felt he was strong enough to take down the man, come what may.

Rin stood around the entrance of the cafeteria, hoping to look less like a hungry kid and more like a teen on a mission. He leaned against the door frame, hands in his pockets. He scanned the thin crowd entering and exiting the area, hoping to recognize the man in the video.]

[It didn't take long for Hei to arrive at the cafeteria, and noticing Rin. This was a situation that may not go down so well, but at least Hei knew of some of Rin's moves. Nothing truly effective though if he had been holding back, yet Hei wasn't here for a fight. People to know of the facility, and get used to the possibility of meeting their clones.

He wasted no time in walking towards Rin, his face neutral. Quickly, he takes a seat at a table, and looks at him.]

Have a seat.

[He looks over Hei's appearance, searching for a weapon on his person. He didn't like being off guard, even if he did have his sword with him. It was an uncomfortable feeling that he only hated more because of how little control he had over his own power. Rin stayed where he was.]

Don't need it.

Fair enough.

[Even with the anger thrown at Hei, he was not showing much response aside from his deadpan expression. It'd take more than that to set off any anger and frustration within the Contractor.]

I'm not going to dance around the subject, so pay attention.

I am from a facility, a clone of the original Hei. There, many people like myself were created, and some roam the tower now. One such clone was that of you.

[Was this guy just joking around? C'mon, really... clones? But usually people who were clones didn't exactly claim to be clones. They would pretend to be the other person, take over the original's life, and then live. At least, that's how it went. So far, Hei was already breaking the mold.]

Prove it. [Either Hei was a great liar (and storyteller) or he was telling the truth. But if it was the truth... Nah. Can't be.]

[It was justifiable in his mind because he wasn't the type to take the original's identity. He was Hei, yes, but different from his original self. Moreover, the facility needed to be stopped, and he doubted the Consortium was done for despite what the tower said. More knowledge spread, the better in his mind.

And while he was a great liar, this wasn't some story.]

Would you prefer I point you to individuals such as myself? Or maybe you wish for a different type of proof? [He places his faciliberry on the table.]

I dunno. You said you knew me - or my clone - but you can't really know anything about me besides my name. So I'm askin' you to prove that you really know me. I could care less about the clone story, as crazy as it sounds.

[Rin crosses his arms, trying hard to feel less apprehensive. He was already thinking of how he could get rid of the guy, if he turned out to be a threat. Maybe he could outrun him...]

Nothing substantial. However, I do recall you conversing with Yusuke, preventing him from taking on a rival of yours, a man by the name of Ryuji Suguro.

It's your choice whether or not you believe me.

He's not a man, he's the same age as I am! [Though he won't say it, he really did miss Suguro and all of his other classmates from Cram School.]

Maybe my clone didn't bother talking about me much. ...Or himself. Whatever. [It was a relief. Sort of. He had anticipated Hei to mention his heritage.]

I'll decide later on my own! [DON'T RUSH HIM, GOSH.] ...You know for a clone, you're not acting the part. What do I call you? Hei?

I had other matters to attend to aside from socializing with everyone. [He had spent too much time going solo, as well as making sure Lucy was mentally stable. Oh he did pay for that mistake during on trip to Facility 3, a memory he wished to erase.]

Hei will do. As for my reasons, I have them, because I want to stop those that created me.

I don't really get it, but it sounds like you really are a Frankenstein sort of clone. You know, going against your creator and all that.

[And since there wasn't anything to fear, or be wary of, Rin figured he may as well lower his guard. The clone seemed decent enough. And he needed more allies in this place.]

Okay, Hei, what about those training lessons?

They tortured us every week. Of course we rebelled.

[It was a no brainer really, just like how people rebelled here as well.]

You're willing to trust me?

[The more he hears about this facility, the less he likes it. He hopes its been burned to the ground.]

Sure. I don't see why not. [But if Hei did give him a reason to distrust him, there would be more than just an angry teen to deal with...]

Very well. [Though Hei would be keeping a close eye on this kid.] Unfortunately, I don't know the difference in strength between the current you and your clone.

[He does think it's a little cool to have a clone. Then again he has a twin brother. That sort of counted, right? ...UHM] Does street fighting count? I can also use a sword.

[By use a sword, he means slicing everything in sight without any real form. But before he came here he was working with an instructor! He's got the basics down.]

I see, then you both are similar, though he relied on his fists for our training sessions. [And he accidentally shocked the poor kid due to the experiment conflicting with his powers.]

At any rate, we'll expand on your hand-to-hand technique.
