1st Sand Coffin [Video/Action]
[Gaara has read the letters, and thinks this is just another sadistic experiment at the facility. He gets up out of bed and curiously looks around the room, making a mental note of the trunk. Where is the communication device? It might have been misplaced during the transfer. He needs to find a way to access the public network.
He leaves the room and walks swiftly through the hallways in a brief exploration. Eventually, he wanders into the library and finds a computer, recognizing the electronic device from the facility. With some experience, he navigates the functions and figures out how to post a video.
He stares impassively at the screen for a few seconds.] Doctors, Consortium, Val. [Addressing all three to see which one, if any, would actually respond to his call.] This is an amateur tactic. Rather disappointing.
[Now, to figure out what is this week’s experiment. They’re not on schedule for an F3 expedition. Strange.]
Sai. [Brief pause.] Kankuro, Temari. Report in.

[These people could be natives from the F3 location, Gaara reasons logically. There were usually more monsters than civilians, but every location was different.]
Are you a native of this location?
Re: video
No. We are from the facility. [Or were possibly.]
And before you say anything, this isn't facility 3. Some of have us have been taken out and placed within this tower.
video
[That doesn’t shock him because he still thinks they are trapped within the facility.] Another part of the space station, then? Hmph. [He maintains a calm expression.] They can be as ruthless as they choose. They won’t succeed in breaking everyone.
Re: video
The tower is different. According to sources, it has been around for years, and those I have talked to are currently investigating who created it.
Moreover, your faciliberry. You can't use it anymore to contact others anymore, can you?
video
[His expression is one of disbelief.
Honestly? Someone he knows and trusts. He has no reason to believe anyone else.]
The Doctors only spoke of termination, or returning home, as the two means of escape from the facility. Now, there is a claim otherwise.
[He shakes his head.] I haven't conducted a thorough search for it yet.
You must understand that concrete proof is required, more so than the word of strangers. The others could be lying to you.
Re: video
[Wait, returning home? There was no home, only...]
...You don't know the truth about us, do you? Do you even recall the rebellion or overthrowing the scientists with the aid of Val?
[Another time gap, just like with Yusuke. This was proving to be troublesome.]
video
[He shakes his head.] There was an invasion on the space station at the beginning of the year… Elaborate on the rebellion. [Quirking a brow.] The scientists and Val were in cohorts, were they not?
[There is something he’s not getting here. Either this man is a very good liar, or… something else happened.]
video; gonna thread jack over here >.>;
[ her tone was a little serious as she changed over to the conversation. ]
It's a little difficult to ask this of you, but I know who he is. I think it would be easier if I tell him about this. He won't trust you, because he doesn't know you. It's nothing against you, Hei.
[ She gave him a small apologetic look. ]
Re: video
[He raises an eyebrow. This was strange alright. Val had actually aided in the rebellion he knew of but...]
It's perhaps possible there is a time gap between most of our memories. The rebellion we planned, we had the aid of Val, and took over. The experiments however continued, but we were also given control of the station, and learned of the truth of our existence.
video
I see. [He nods in understanding.] Val was opposed to the residents… at one point. [He remembers the experiment where some people had gotten locked up and tortured while everyone else was supposed to drink alcohol and watch.] The control must only have been temporary, since the captives still remain.
The truth of your existence? [Instant trigger.]
Re: video
[It must have had to do with being taken here. At the mention of Gaara's surprise however, he solemnly nods.]
For now, I think it's best if you adjust to the tower as we begin to gather more from the facility. As it stands, too much stress for one person is not a good thing for anyone.
video
…Very well. [What this man is saying, combined with Ishtar’s interruption, is more than enough to put him on high guard.] Your cooperation is appreciated.
Re: video
[He nods.] As is yours.
video
You seem to be acquainted with Ishtar. Are you a friend of hers?
Re: video
He nods.]
Yes, I am. I take it you two are friends as well?
video
Yes. [Brief pause.] Are there any known threats in this... tower? In terms of the inhabitants.
Re: video
If there are those like us who are threats, they have yet to make themselves fully known. However, there is a case about a young man being manipulated to kill his friends, and he has no memory. I would advise caution for that.
video
There were a number of threatening individuals at the facility. [He probably didn’t need to tell the other that, but the obvious had to be stated.] There is a possibility that the same would apply to… this location.
[Gaara quirks a brow at hearing that.] Understood. Trust continues to be a concern.
Re: video
Naturally. Still, not a lot of people have questioned our presence at all.
video
[He asks in a dry tone.] By forcing them into comatose states?
They seem to be… unusually understanding. [He shakes his head.] For that reason, I doubt their sincerity.
Re: video
Nothing understanding about that.
video
What do you mean?
Re: video
Shock factor and fuel for rage and anger. That's all it was.
video
They are far from being "heroes." I don't believe their claim. They likely kidnapped everyone to fulfill a specific purpose.
Hmph. How frivolous.
