[ Kairi's used to winding up in different worlds, but something about this just seemed off. She couldn't find hide nor hair of Tifa and Aerith, much less Riku and Sora, and that worried her. Were they taken from right under her nose or no?

She had so many questions, but didn't know if she had the time for them. However, she needs to get to the bottom of this to go home. ]

Ah, I hope I'm using this right...

For those who might not know me, I'm Kairi and...I'm not really sure why I'm here, so information on my surroundings would be more than helpful. Thank you for your help.

Also, if anyone has seen two women who go by the names Tifa Lockhart and Aerith Gainsborough, could you let me know where they are? More importantly, if anyone knows where two others - boys who go by the names Riku and Sora, that would be extremely helpful. I'll try my best to repay you, too.

[Oh, good. Wouldn't want to impose any misconceptions... yeah no they're pretty much exactly the same.]

Well, thank you. Maybe it won't be like hell after all.

Depends what you make of it, I guess. [SHRUG. Beat got here at a... dark point in the Tower's history (literally, it was a month-long blackout) and things only got worse from there, so he's kind of got some stigmas attached, but maybe Kairi can be like some great miracle worker of peace and light and unite all the hearts of the broken worlds, making the people of Fort Clusterfuck free at last!]

Sooo... want me to give you the initiation tour?

[ she can definitely try there! After all, she's the Keybearer and all that. ]

Cool, I'll meet you on the bottom floor. If you're still in the dorms there's an elevator that takes you down there. [Beat himself is not in the dorms, but rather the first library floor, so he has to take the long way down.]

Got it, I'll meet you there.

[ Like that, she's going to work on getting there right.... now! ]

[He totally just said 'neato'.]

[In other news, there sure is a Beat loitering around the staircase on the cafeteria floor. It shouldn't be too hard to pick him out, but he's focused on the elevator opening just in case.]

[ She's heard weirder slang.

She manages to find her way to the library where Beat is waiting for her and runs up when she thinks that she's been able to identify him through the crowd. ]

Hey! Have I kept you long?

Nah. [He moves over to her. Kairi may notice that he's not actually walking over to her, but sliding over on rollerblades. He basically just got on the staircase and grinded it all the way down, hence why he got here faster than Kairi even though she had the elevator.]

[Okay. Prepare for TLDR.]

Alright, so. First stop on the tour: cafeteria. This is the bottom floor, obviously. Important shit happens here, like food. When something goes funky in the tower, the cafeteria is usually a good place to stake out -- the monsters aren't so bad and whenever the admins decide to throw us a bone, it usually lands here. Did you eat the oatmeal yet?

[ She's seen skateboards before, so the appearance of rollerblades doesn't really seem to surprise her that much. ]

Got it, annnd... no, I haven't. Is eating it required or something?

Yeah. Go pick up a bowl and eat it as we go; you'll throw up everything else until you've finished the whole thing. [He's not even trying to come up with nicer ways to put it. You have to speak more politely around women? Who ever said that?]
