[Feferi looks...tired. That's all you can really say about her, when she lets the video come on. She looks like she hasn't slept much, and she looks like she's gone somewhere to cry for a few minutes before calming down enough to speak.]

H-hi, everyone. I hope everyone's all right?

I - mm. I was going to ask whether or not anyone else's roommates weren't waking up, but...

...what do you do when this place finally gets to you? I've been trying not to - to let it, but...I think I just really need some friends right now. I was up by the aquarium earlier and I think I'm gonna go back up there.

[She wipes at her eyes, and she thinks she's cut the feed, but:]

...it's never easy, this whole 'actually needing to step up and make decisions' princess stuff...

[She's found playing with a few cuttlefish. Some of them are sucking at her fingertips as she waits. Feferi has a bit of a smile on her face. She takes her hand out of the water when she hears footsteps approaching her.]

Mr. Enoch?

It's fine! I'm late too ;;

*Enoch gives a small, affirming smile of his own with a matching nod, his hand falling to his side.*

And you're Feferi, aren't you? *He watches the cuttlefish float nearby. Squids, huh? He wonders if Armaros's Nephilim would appear here someday. If it would recognize him.*

The water calms you?

*Well, not like she doesn't have some obvious fins but...it was more to get the conversation going. He's a bit rusty in starting these things.*

[She turns and smiles.]

I am. And it does. I feel most at home around the water. When I was at home...it sounds crazy, but I lived under the water. You probably notice the fins, but I have gills, too. I can live on land just fine, but I'm most at home around and underwater. Sometimes I even go swimming in here.

[She laughs, knowing how crazy it sounds.]

*Except it doesn't sound crazy at all. Enoch's smile only deepens, with a sad, wistful air to it somewhere. Maybe it's in his eyes or at the corners of his mouth.*

It doesn't seem so strange to me. Someone very dear to me from my world loved the water, as well. He had no gills, but was able to survive in it all the same.

*Now it's his turn to chuckle at how strange he must sound.*
