[Unfortunately, the hemospectrum bit will not die easily -- but she could probably infer that already, considering the persona of his other self. What she could probably also infer is that Equius? Doesn't take hugs well. He basically goes stiff as a board when she hugs her, the gasp clearly audible even over the burble of the water, and only after she lets go does he find himself capable of speaking with anything approaching coherency.]

[Nepeta had threatened to make him vow the same thing. Even though she didn't, in the end, he was mindful of how he referred to himself around her from that point on. Now, it appears, he's stuck describing himself as a 'yellowblood' again.]

The only place where he had ever felt completely at peace was a workshop, be it here or back on Alternia; oddly enough, for how cowardly he is the rest of the time, he seems to be at his calmest surrounded by swords and lasers and mechanical killers. But Feferi wouldn't like that at all, he figures; he has to choose something else. Finding himself unable to lie and say something like the meadow, he instead has to go for the next best thing.]
