[[Once that ominous message has been left, the young girl abandons the terminal she found on third floor of dormitories and begins her hunt. She has an ass to kick and she will find it. There's a four eyed black kitten on her heels, batting playfully at her coat tails as they walk and under her arm is a very large book of some sort. Occasionally she checks a terminal as she passes because you'd better believe she will descend upon her friend like a hawk when he replies, but beyond that she's going to head down stairs to look on the floor below. Maybe go a few more floors down if need be.

She'll care about where exactly she is later. It's probably just like SBURB anyway. Do some exploration and eventually you'll run into some helpful creatures! Surely that's how it works.]]

[He was still staring at the terminal and her message. He turned just at the right time to see Rose walking passed the door of his dormitory.

Dave had to pause for a moment after he just barely missed Rose. Really, he saw mostly her back and whatever the fuck she was wearing and the kitten. But...

Quickly, Dave is scrambling to his feet and following after Rose. He was pretty sure he was going to be disappointed. The Tower was far from forgiving to him. It was always worth a shot though.] Rose?

[[Sorry Dave, you will be disappointed. But the blonde in the magician suit at least stops and turns around when she hears you!]]

[His Rose never wore anything like that. Seeing as the familiar purple font addressing John and that was definitely Rose, she must be the alternate Rose from the offshoot. She definitely was probably an Egbert, based on the get up. He can't imagine a Harley wearing that and he knew Jade was the time player in their session from John.

He keeps his face leveled. He didn't want her to see him disappointed. Damn, having shades sure is fucking convenient.] Yeah. I guess we're not who we're expecting though. [He tugged at the hood of his god tier outfit.] You're the one who put the message out to kill John, right? Well, he's here, but I'd recommend not killing people here. They just come back and have to handle the whiplash of sleep paralysis like it's going out of style. It isn't fun. Not that dying was ever fun. Also, I'm supposed to vouch for him by association because he's John. He's prone to doing ridiculously stupid shit without actually explaining to anyone, but we're supposed to take it with a grain of salt. I mean, it doesn't always excuse him being ridiculously dumb, but he's usually got good intentions. Except when he isn't.

Oh... [[She, on the other hand, is a little obviously disappointed, but tries to shake it off because this is apparently still a Dave and he knows John is here and that's pretty cool. Plus he seems really nice so.]]

Well to be honest I wasn't actually going to kill him, even if I definitely owe him now, what with him destroying the fucking universe apparently. ...though yeah, that sounds a lot like him, hehe. Well if you aren't the Dave I was expecting, who are you? And...what Rose are you expecting? Because there's another Rose here if it's her.

Naw, if I was expecting a Rose Strider, than I wouldn't be a Strider myself. I'm Dave Strider and I was expecting a Rose Lalonde. She was here once, but she kind of just ollied outtie pretty quickly. Good for her, since this place is a terrible shithole anyways. [John already kind of explained their timeline to him. It was honestly a little nerve wracking to interact with other people part of a Doomed timeline. At least with Daves, they all kind of knew what each other were thinking. But when other people were involved, he felt like he should have somehow done better to avoid these offshoots.

More like he's rude. He's kind of a rude jackass with probably good intentions. Probably. [[He blew them the fuck up, for god's sake.]] She's a Strider too, huh? I don't know if sassy is the word for it really, but yeah. And Dave Strider? [[...don't mind her quiet snickering at that image.]] Well it's a pleasure to meet you! Sorry I'm not a Lalonde, but that's John's job. I'm pure one hundred percent Egbert! [[Dave, she doesn't even know about doomed timeline yet. All she knows is that they were breeding the new universe and then John showed up and destroyed their current one like an asshole. Because he and Jade didn't explain anything to her and Dave. Like a rude jackass.]]

Okay. An idiot, rude jackass with good intentions. That's basically how they run. [Guess that's not quite the same as going off with your ecto sister to an untimely death.] Striders do like coming in red for the most part. Yeah, Dave Strider. Is me being a Strider funny? Do I tickle your funny bone? I can't help it if I'm a Strider. Check your privilege. I'm extremely offended right now. [Hopefully you don't actually take his deadpan super seriously.]

It's cool. I guess I'm not the Harley you were expecting. [This conversation might be a little weirder if she were aware.]

It is funny. Sorry but it's hard to see Dave as a Strider. I mean he's pretty cool yeah but not Strider cool. That's Jade's department. But...it's okay. It's not like it's your fault.

I'm offended. I like to think I'm easy on the eyes. [He's just messing with you.] I was born this way.

But if I hadn't already met a Jade Strider, I would have said that seeing a Jade Strider is hard to imagine.
