[April looks both tired and not very happy, and she seems to be suffering from sort of headache, judging by how she's rubbing her forehead with a grimace.]

Apparently portable communication devices are a thing that's impossible to make here. If you can somehow put together the materials to make something simple, making a wireless connection between them is impossible, even with use of powers. I tried and now my head hates me for it.

[A sigh as she rubs her eyes.]

So yeah, to the people who I told this about and stuff, sorry but it's not gonna happen. And on a related note, if anyone wants any sort of tech made, I'll probably be able to help out. So long as it isn't a portable communications device or something like that.

[Now she glances back up at him.] ... When I was trying to create the wireless network, I was using my powers to do it. But I wasn't able to, so I kept trying and trying and it eventually backfired on me. And that's why I've got a really bad headache.

... I imagine if I hadn't stopped, I would have seriously done damage to myself.

[ By now Haldir found a nearby chair and was perched upon it as he spoke with April. ]

Maybe, but... I don't like letting people down. [Her voice gains some firmness as she says this.] I always try to keep my promises, no matter what.

Fair enough, but next time do take better care of yourself or else I will be forced to drag you to your bed again.

[ That's definitely a "promise" on his part if April decides to get a little reckless again. ]
