[April looks both tired and not very happy, and she seems to be suffering from sort of headache, judging by how she's rubbing her forehead with a grimace.]

Apparently portable communication devices are a thing that's impossible to make here. If you can somehow put together the materials to make something simple, making a wireless connection between them is impossible, even with use of powers. I tried and now my head hates me for it.

[A sigh as she rubs her eyes.]

So yeah, to the people who I told this about and stuff, sorry but it's not gonna happen. And on a related note, if anyone wants any sort of tech made, I'll probably be able to help out. So long as it isn't a portable communications device or something like that.

I probably will... And all these things you're talking about is medication, right?

Right. Did you not have much of that?

Not really... Anything like medication was only used in emergencies back home.

I've noticed that things that were uncommon in my world are common here and in most other worlds... Then again, I'm from a wasteland, so it's not surprising.

I guess that's one good thing about being here.

I guess... That, along with being able to see books and plants. But this place still sucks a lot.

He sounded important to you.

... Very important. But he died a few years ago, so I made sure to remember all the things he used to say.

I've heard that people we remember never really leave us, even after they've passed away.

Well... I know I'll never forget him. So that's... nice to know.
