[April looks both tired and not very happy, and she seems to be suffering from sort of headache, judging by how she's rubbing her forehead with a grimace.]

Apparently portable communication devices are a thing that's impossible to make here. If you can somehow put together the materials to make something simple, making a wireless connection between them is impossible, even with use of powers. I tried and now my head hates me for it.

[A sigh as she rubs her eyes.]

So yeah, to the people who I told this about and stuff, sorry but it's not gonna happen. And on a related note, if anyone wants any sort of tech made, I'll probably be able to help out. So long as it isn't a portable communications device or something like that.

... I know they probably blocked that part of my powers, though I might be stuck with the headache due to overexerting myself.

Oh, I should probably introduce myself. My name is Justin Partridge, I was an engineer working for the government back home.

Maybe it's the collars? I'm not sure what else it could be...

... Nice to meet you, Justin, I'm April. I, uh... I was kinda a hacker and computer programmer back home. [Among other things.]

Probably, but that doesn't tell us what about the collars. It can't be easy to dampen so many different kinds of powers.

*How he would like to take one apart. But he's not willing to kill someone to satisfy his curiosity.*

But aside from that, the feeling's mutual. It's always nice to meet someone else who's good with technology.

Maybe each one is tailored to our powers or something?

And yeah, it is... I've never really met many people who're good with tech, so it's nice to meet more people who are.

I know some people here have powers from multiple sources, though.

I was working with a group back home, but I don't really know many here.

Hmm... Then I'm not really sure.

I was the only tech person in my group back home, and I've met a couple of people here. Though it doesn't seem like there are a lot of computer programmers here.

Well, it is a somewhat difficult specialty. It's still a shame, but not really much of a surprise.

Yeah, I guess that's true. But at least there's a few of us here to help out in case anything tech related needs done.
