..So we're kinda in a crisis situation here!

Cuz of that, I figured we should... try to do a status report kind of thing! The top levels got totaled, and I know monsters had pretty much taken over a few other floors in mobs when I was last there.

I'd... like to ask you guys to report anyone you know is dead. Since the dorms are gone, I... don't think anyone's coming back that way for a while.

Yeah, I just did a sweep, definitely monster central on the higher floors. The lower ones don't seem to have taken that much damage or monster mobs but it's only a matter of time till they get further down.

[He's ignoring the reporting the dead people bit, because damn it, he's going to try and make sure no one dies.]

Maybe... maybe we should get everyone gathered, and start making barricades to hold them off?

..We could break the stairs, once we're sure there's nobody still up there.

Hm, yeah that'll be a start. Can anyone do any real big magical stuff that can stick up walls or something?

Breaking the stairs is a definite good idea. We'll need explosives, but we have magic for that so we can be good on that front.

We could also set traps. Hopefully give people maps too where we put them just in case.

[Zack looks like a mess, but he's one of the ones that's actually better off. The monsters haven't given him much trouble, but he's avoided the mobs somehow. Luck or giant fireballs, who knows.]

Cafeteria's still holding for now, but...[he shakes his head, sighing] No telling for how long that's gonna be or how many dead we've got. It's too messed up to go looking or get the right count.

Doubt you care, but I'm still around.

...I'd wonder if that would even work, since my prior attempts at blowing parts of the tower apart didn't do anything, but, well. This is a unique situation.

And Sayaka, your friend with the blue hair, the glasses, and the really crappy attitude blows stuff up too.

[Zack has something that lets him heal, but it does little in terms of exhaustion or things like that. It's just good at healing injuries. Which is, of course, a welcome thing in this mess.]

I hope so. Not that one guy fighting off that many monsters is gonna make much difference, but...[shrug and a half smile.] I guess it is a lot better than getting hurt trying to find out how many we lost.

At least they didn't cut the power this time. Can you imagine fighting all these things in the dark?

Every bit's gonna help. Especially if we coordinate it. Barricades could work, right?

..and if you see anyone going into the high floors, tell them no or they'll be stuck. Scraping together another idea to blow up the stairs.

So still awful, gotcha. But monsters going down stairs aren't too hard of a target.

I'll tell 'em, but are you sure that's a good idea? I'm no builder or anything, but if the stairs are supporting the upper floors, wouldn't blowing them up bring them down on us? We've got enough to worry about without getting crushed to death.
