Holographic projection are perfectly achievable through science and miniaturization, or even as a natural interaction between atoms! I would like to believe you, young lady! But to convince me of magic existence irrefutable proof would have to be shown to me, and as you refuse to demonstrate it by science I am not sure such a proof exist. This is how we, scientists, proceed!

I'm no young lady. I've lived far longer than you, over a thousand years, I can't keep track anymore. You're speaking with a senator of the Great Witch Court, a Voyager, someone who was seen as the most powerful witch alive, so don't patronise me.

I'm not talking about holographic projections. I can show you that if you like, anything which can be constructed through science. But, what I speak of is entirely different. I could summon a demon straight from Hell, living, breathing, solid, not a projection. I can work with your science, it's the closest thing humans have to magic, you're right. But we higher beings are not confined to it. This is my point. You can experiment on anything you like - would you like to dissect me and see I will still be living, see that my blood is strawberry syrup? I would be glad to show you. We can play by science.

Thousands years? Great Scott! This I can believe you as I have already met and tested the existence of such incredibly old being. My intent is not to patronize you but simply of being polite!

I'm sorry but I will not dissect you, why would I do such thing, The ethics impose to us scientist more respect than this to life and we never experiment on living human, or for that matter sentient beings! Though I'm afraid you couldn't summon a demon straight from Hell! Even in the hypothesis this was true, and believe me I doubt it, your homeworld has been destroyed and its hell along with it according to our administrators, and my theories confirm it!

But let me ask you a question! Even if all you say is true, let's use that hypothesis for a minute! Do you not believe an extremely advanced being mastering all sciences could have designed you to be as you are and your powers, as the result of a design through science.

I have no homeworld, that is the curse of witches such as myself, we have to keep travelling between the many worlds, always. Nothing is home. Hell doesn't belong to one world, Hell is just that, and so is Heaven.

Do you mean 'do you believe God created you', or 'do you believe you were created through a scientific experiment'? Either way, no, I don't. I was a human, but was born again as a witch, through perserverance through a sea of despair. My partner was much the same. She was a young girl, doomed to be killed. But she fought her fate, thousands of times over, looking for a world with a happy ending. Through a miracle, she found one. But she had realised, the girl of that world would be her, but not her. She was born again as a powerful witch through that ultimate suffering. It was much the same for me. It could be argued we attained that small level of magic as humans through science, but our powers as witches come from ourselves.
