[ Ishtar looked a little worse for wear, but she seemed to be holding on. The past week had been a bit of a disaster to deal with. She wasn't expecting to be chased by monsters and running around like a madman. She was glad that it finally looked better now, even though it probably wasn't. ]

Does this happen often? You know...monsters on the loose, and stuff?

[ She mused. She didn't know how else to approach this situation. ]

Because this is going to be one hell of a stay if it happens often.

[ She raised her brow. Her expression suddenly changing into a more concerned one. ]

Is everyone okay? If anyone needs help dressing wounds, or healing then I can offer my abilities. They're not great, but I can patch you up real well? If you need anything at all, please tell me. I don't mind helping around and about.

Elian, are you alright? Gaara, I haven't seen you at all since the attack. Tell me your location at least. Duzie, I know you're around somewhere, but be careful alright? Hei and Yusuke, you guys are fine right? Sorry I got you guys in a little trouble there when the monsters attacked.

[ She would need it, but as much as he thinks. Ishtar was a little different from when Gaara remembered her. She probably couldn't get into anymore trouble that that right now. ]

I don't know, but he's on his way over now.

[ She replied. Ishtar would have to leave soon as well, but of course she refused to leave Gaara just yet. ]

Well, it seemed to work for me so far. [ She looks at him with a sigh. ]

Right, right. I forgot you can't sleep. Jeez, you're making this difficult. Can you at least come down to get food and water?

[ She replied. She wasn't giving in just yet. ]

You're being ridiculous again, Gaara. You're just as important as anyone else, and I'm worried about you. It doesn't change.

I am not being difficult intentionally. [He just works really hard when the situation calls for it. He is rarely lazy and unproductive.] I will, once my body requires nourishment…

And here, he will just look at her like she said something completely asinine.] You know that isn’t true. [If he was the real Gaara, maybe. But he isn’t. He just happens to have the face and implanted memories of someone with importance. Big difference there.]

If you’re going to insist on being an idiot, then I will simply follow you. [And trust me, he will figure out a way to do it. He is a skilled ninja, after all.] I worry about you as well.

[ She replied in a serious tone. ]

Sure you aren't. Are you sure that you aren't intentionally making my life more difficult for me?

[ The next set of words came off more like teasing than anything. ]

I mean...right now.

[ She bluntly stated. ] I think it is best for you to come back now to eat and drink something.

[ She added. ]

It's true enough to me. So, stop being difficult and come down here.

[ Forget the memo Gaara? The last time we checked, Ishtar adopted him against his will. Of course, he's important. ]

I'm not the same careless idiot I was years ago. I might be a bit clumsy here and there, but I can promise you that I can hold my ground pretty well. You can even ask Duzie.

[ She replied using someone as evidence. ]

Then we're even. I just hope that you understand, clone or not, you're Gaara, and you're my friend. I don't care what or who you are at this point. To me you're just Gaara, simple as that.

[He nods slightly.] Good. If either one of you needs anything, tell me.

[Have a strange look for that, Ish.] No. But if you want me to behave difficult intentionally, I can do so. [He might be quipping back in a not-completely-serious tone.] I would need to take lessons from you, to be effective at it.

[He falls quiet for some time, and then a small smile briefly plays over his lips.] You sound just like them…

[He has no knowledge of this adoption. =/ So nyah.]

…Duzell? [Blink. He remembers who that is. Not terribly fond of him, although Gaara knows how important the cruel vampire is to his friend.] Did he return to the facility after… my termination?

[Some tension eases out of his expression at hearing her words, and he remarks with a slight smirk.] You’ve become more perceptive, Ish.

[ She replied smiling a little. ] No, please don't. I really don't want to result in doing something that I might regret later.

[ There was a nervous laugh from her as she said that. ] Hey, you know I find that offending!

[ She was half joking of course. ] I sound like who?

[ TOO BAD HE'LL LEARN OF IT SOON ENOUGH. ]

Oh...Yeah..Duzell....he's here.

[ She looked away from him, not making much eye contact. ] The...real Duzell.

[ She replied closing her eyes. Duzell was one of those people that Ishtar would forgive, just like anyone else that she was close to. She would never condemn them. ]

No..he didn't, rather I was there with Yujinn most of the time.

[ She added quietly. ]
