well, if you had paid attention, you would have realized that if the wench had not died i would have not made a deal with davy jones to raiſe her as the pearl nor i would have ſold my ſoul or my mother i cannot remember which one for it which of courſe would have reſulted in me not getting devoured by a giant monſtrous ſea beaſtie and thrown in the locker for what felt like an eternity.

If you had been paying attention, you would realize you never mentioned Davy Jones, that the wench IS the pearl, the sea creature, or the locker.
