[When the video starts, the first thing I'm sure anyone would notice is that Kidou isn't wearing his goggles. For once, everyone can see his gorgeous red eyes. And if anyone were inclined to notice this kind of thing, he looks dead beat tired and a bit like he had rolled all over some dirt though that's not the case. Needless to say, he looked like a mess.]

Good afternoon... this is Kidou Yuuto.

[His voice doesn't have the normal liveliness to it, either.]

I was wondering if there was anyone who could work with glass in the Tower. [He holds up his goggles, showing off a bad crack in the right lens.] I'm not sure if anyone could fix this kind of crack, but if you'd be willing to help out, I'd really appreciate it. Even making a new lens would be okay.

... These goggles are really important to me.

Are you sure you'd be okay with lending me one of your lens?

I wouldn't have offered if I wasn't going to be, Kidou. I don't need them to see things on land. The places I'd normally go swimming aren't fixed yet. And with so much going on lately? If I can kelp out a frond even a little, then I reely want to do that.

[He offers her a small smile]

Thanks, Feferi-hime. [They just need to find someone who can make the lens smaller, now.]

You're welcome. I just hope that someone's able to do the rest of the work, now that the material to work with is there. Do you want me to drop these off by your room in a little while?

There are people here who do all kinds of things with computers and machinery and all that, so you're right. There has to be somebody!

Mm. Okay, I'll be over in a little bit.

[About 5 minutes later, there's a knock.]

Alright.

[And it takes him about that much time to reach his room from the terminal he was at. He smirks a bit and taps her shoulder.]

Hey -

[Feferi had been hoping that had been some kind of bad connection and she wasn't seeing Kidou looking as tired as he was, but that wasn't the case.]

- there. You look tired. Don't push yourself too hard, okay? We've all been through a lot, so we need to get some rest. The worst of the attacks are over, and there's not much we can reely do besides make sure we're all getting back into good condition.

[She took the moment to take her goggles off before she got there - it's complicated, with as much hair as she has, okay - and then she holds them out with a smile.]

Here you go, Kidou. I get how it is when something's so important to you. You want to take care of it.

[She chuckles lightly, to try and brighten the mood.]

Seasides, the last time I had a new pair made, I told them not to make them so huge. So it works out both ways.

I appreciate you looking out for me... but you don't need to worry. I'm so tired because I've been practicing a new hissatsu, that's all. [A really powerful one...]

Thanks. [He takes the goggles from her and smiles.]

Oh, wow! That's fintastic! What kind is it, or is that a surfprise?

[She bounces on her heels - that's right, she's got something to tell him!]

That reminds me! I don't know if Koujirou told you, but I think I pulled off my first hissatsu! It...kind of wasn't on the field exactly, but I've been practicing so much myshellf that this - you ever have one of those moments when your body just kind of knows what it needs to do, then does it?

It was like that. I think I could do it on a field too, but it was in one of those moments where defense was the best offense. And the rest just kind of happened - Koujirou threw up Power Shield, then I tried to get as high up as I could. I spun in the middle of the air, sending a water jet from each of my arms.

It worked and I just - like I said, it's been through practicing and playing that I think my body figured out what to do all on its own. I'm so happy!

[pengeen]

It's... a bit of a surprise. [It's a dangerous technique... he didn't want to talk about it with her and have her worry.]

That's great that you pulled off your first technique, though. Congratulations. [If only he was less tired, he'd be more excited about this.]

[cullscuttlefish]

I'll be looking forward to seeing it, then. And to showing you what mine looks like, if I ever figure out a name for it.

[She laughs, but then she gets a little more serious.]

But you still shouldn't push yourshellf too hard, okay? It's hard to get back to open water when you're tired and stuck in a strong current. Get some rest, okay?

I'll be fine, I'm not that tired. [His body decides to betray him though, and he covers his mouth as lets out a yawn.]
