I've never believed a word of what they've said about our home worlds being destroyed.
The one I left was completely flooded due to melted ice caps. For that all to be gone, there would've had to be a major increase in temperature.
I cannot conceivably imagine how it could've been hot enough to evaporate all the water from both the oceans and from the atmosphere,
Because it should've at least rained. I didn't even find traces of that.
The only explanation IF it was my world would be if there was some sort of time shenanigan again and I was sent even farther into the future.
