i mean it was kind of terrifying the first time
and maybe even the second time
but at this point its like the hugest fucking waste of time to be stuck lying on your bed waiting to get feeling to your fingers again
but now im curious
what is the longest you got stuck lying in bed for
like an approximate if you werent sure of the exact time

It's for little kids. Like, Jade gets a go free card because she lives on a fucking island, but no one else actually would admit to watching it otherwise. That's generally something you keep to yourself. On the other hand. A video game on it is more acceptable.

I guess? It depends where he's taken from. I used to not be able to fly. [He feels like one of those suave alcohol commercials. Most interesting man on Earth or something.]

Because at least the video game is fun.

And he didn't, either? [Seems a reasonable assumption. He is the most suave, clearly. Chicks dig the dudes who can fly.] Do you think you'd miss it, if you couldn't anymore?

We were normal for awhile. Grew up like averages kids and then suddenly we weren't. So yeah. [Dave ponders for a moment.] Yeah, I guess. It's nice having it. It's one of those things that having it doesn't also mean having some huge repercussion with it.

I don't think they have the show itself here. [Thank god.]

Mm. I think I know what you mean. [Like how it was for Sora and Riku and Kairi. World-saving was not exactly on the agenda in the beginning, aside from perhaps in play.] Well, I'm glad it's something good for you, then. That's nice to know.

That's okay. I'll see the game, at least. That should be enough.

The show would probably leave you traumatized forever or you'll have a bad case of needing to cuddle everything in sight anyways.

Cuddle everything? [Huh. That's... a decidedly peculiar mental image. Or-- sensation, whatever.] ... That's a little hard to imagine.

[She doesn't really cuddle anything, at least not with that other things starting it. She is, however, smiling as she says it.]

It's like these things are out for tangle buddies and you can get caught in their tentacles of love and lack of personal privacy. I assure you that they're like the cuddle Cthulhu or some shit.

I have no idea what Cthulhu is supposed to be, but that sounds... uncomfortable. I mean-- not the love part, just the rest.

I'm starting to wonder what your place even had if you didn't have Cthulhu. [Not that having Cthulhu was some great thing to have for referencing.]

I guess they're cute but definitely not my thing.

... Well, there was one person I know of who had tentacles, and I'm sure there were others like her. [Although the thought makes her brow knit.] She wasn't a very nice woman, and I don't think she would have spent much time cuddling anyone.

[She's just going with tentacles rather than eldritch monstrosities, since she's not familiar with that part of it.]

Well, Eldritch monstrosities don't tend to be nice, so I can't see a woman made of tentacles really being any nicer.

But maybe my bias against them is showing. Maybe I should keep my mind broader. No, fuck that. Tentacles are terrible. I'm not interested in living the life of a hentai babe.

I do know of someone who had tentacles for a short time because of magic, but I'm not sure he counts. The woman was... a sea w-- [She falters at a rather peculiar time, something in her expression, but continues with,] ... witch, who sought to gain power by manipulating others. [Technically it doesn't have anything to do with the tentacles, but who knows--]

This is why people with tentacles are terrible and probably not friendly at all. [He's very aware that it probably has nothing to do with the tentacles part honestly.]

I'm... not sure I'd say that, exactly, but-- I suppose it is something to watch out for. [Given that they... have extra limbs to get at one with.]

[One eyebrow definitely goes up while the other goes down.] ... If you say so?

Don't worry about it. I've been corrupted by modern day television and the internet. Save yourself while you can.

[... Well, naming aside, they're useful about the same way, and therein lies the rub.]
