So Thanksgiving is coming up, at least for the country I was living in for a long time.

For those of you who don't know, there's a historical basis behind it but the main idea nowadays is to get together with family and friends, stuff your faces, watch sports, and think of things you're thankful for.

So, tower residents. What are you thankful for?

My best friend is here to smack me if I do anything stupid.

That's always a good thing. Mine did the same at home.

I owe a lot to him. I'd rather he be home to take care of the world, but him being here means I feel safer.

I understand. I kind of wish she was here, but it's probably better that she's at home to take care of things that I can't.

I'm thankful for the best parts of a bad situation, anyway.

[hachitaro]

That's the way to do it, I think. At least that's what I've always tried to live by.

That, and 'nothing is too serious that you can't laugh at it'.

That's a good one too. I don't know if I could manage it.

I guess it comes a little easier if you're a trickster by nature.
