So Thanksgiving is coming up, at least for the country I was living in for a long time.

For those of you who don't know, there's a historical basis behind it but the main idea nowadays is to get together with family and friends, stuff your faces, watch sports, and think of things you're thankful for.

So, tower residents. What are you thankful for?

But seriously, why all the hate?

Americans are brutish, fat morons who couldn't shoot straight or think of an effective battle plan if they were promised a life's supply of junk food.

Oh, and I am also a German.

Not all of them are like that. Sure, there's some that are - but you find people like that in every country.

[Though the second part makes him pause. No telling when this guy is from, right? ... Maybe he should ask. He's not sure that he wants to know the answer, but...]

What year is it for you back home?

Oh, it does get so hard to remember, what with all the time travel... But, had I stayed in the proper year, I believe it would have been 1945.

That makes more sense then. It sucked for people all over during that war.

I imagine the zombies didn't help much.

There weren't zombies during the war that I know of. At least not in my world.

Admittedly, there were no zombies in the war for quite a while, but then...

Oh yes, quite a lot of them. The infection spreads quickly, you know.

[Funny you should say that, because in the last place Richtofen visited, George Romero became a zombie. Time shenanigans were involved.]

I imagine it would. I've seen enough zombie movies to know that.

Ooh, zombie movies? Those sound absolutely fantastic! Do they have lots of gore? I hope they do...

Usually they do. It depends on the director.

And where would I find one of these? I would like to see one... For purely educational reasons, of course.

The media level might have one. It's worth taking a look.

Ah yes, wonderful. As a doctor, I must make sure that all gore is presented realistically.
