So... can anybody tell me about weddings and getting married? Just... different things about it. A friend explained some of it to me but... [A lot of it seemed way over her head.] It was really confusing.

Let's see..there's the Western tradition of a white wedding, where the bride wears all white, and there's a custom of throwing rice at the couple just after they're married, and there's a recent custom of wearing wedding bands, and a custom of partying after the wedding..
