1st Investigation [ Video ]
[ Nothing will be able to distress Kyouko, and for her world being destroyed? She was reluctant to believe it, however was it much better, from living within a death school?! One thing that bothered her was the collar wrapped around her neck, and what purpose it served.
It wasn't soon before long that she had found any means of communication, to find out where this place was, and what she could do about it. As the video turned on, stoic expression would be met, alongside a pale-skinned detective.
Her expression did not change, only trying her own patience and ready to speak. ]
I have questions to ask to those who happen to be watching.
[ Now she waits. ]

[ She nods.
Saying anything else would be deemed unnecessary, and turning off the feed she picked herself up; wandering towards the library shelves to see if anything interesting would be found.
That was where Kyouko would be, whenever he arrived. ]
no subject
And a few more seconds to realize that he needs to book it there.
And fast.
So he's going to arrive looking quite out of breath.]
K-kirigiri-san...
[His eyes still can't believe that she's as well as she was before all of Halloween happened.]
no subject
She notices him breathless, somehow he seems to be looking at her strangely; more so from usual. ]
Has something happened, Naegi-kun?
no subject
[Going to lean on one of the shelves, still looking a bit winded before continuing on.]
You're really... Kirigiri-san, right?
[He's really just making sure at this point, that he's not dreaming and all.]
no subject
She didn't feel anything, maybe a ping of confusion. Did he honestly not think it was her? Maybe strange things had in fact happened inside the tower, what she had been warned about from the other residents. ]
Yes, Naegi-kun. [ Her voice was stable, as normal. ] I am Kyouko Kirigiri. Why do you ask?
no subject
Not just something the admin conjured for their monthly experiments.
no subject
No.
I'm not aware of their monthly experiments, but I assure you; I am real, Naegi-kun.
no subject
Hearing that from her gave him relief as he actually looked a bit more relaxed now.]
That's good to hear.
[But uh, it's not really the time for this kind of thing.]
Have others told you about this place yet?
no subject
Wouldn't yes be the simple answer here? ]
Yes, however I'm not one to believe nonsense until I witness it with my own eyes. [ At least her classmates were people she could trust, if not them.. then Naegi. ]
Tell me what you already know, Naegi-kun.
no subject
[...Ah, so she doesn't really remember, this makes it sort of easier for him, even if he feels bad about it.]
This tower is managed by a group of people called administrators. They run and control all of the functions of the tower, be it construction, power, check-ups, food restock and...
The experiments that happen monthly.
no subject
.. And this is not affiliated with Hope's Peak in any sort of way.
[ She mostly mutters to herself, dissatisfied with somewhat knowing the truth. Hearing this leads her to believe somehow this can be one in the same. ]
What are these experiments, Naegi-kun? I am not able to decode and know what to do unless.. you speak of them.
no subject
[There's a shake of his head at the first sentence, though at the second sentence, he gave a small sigh as he continued his explanation.]
It differs according to the administrator in charge, one of them would be scientific and holds experiments that deals with our bodies, another would warp our perception of time and space.
...
And one of them just plays sadistic games to pit us against each other.
no subject
.. He was here? [ There's an awful lot of venom in her tone, more so from usual, well when regarding whoever was behind Monobear had done something to her body; to her father, that much was given. ] You did not find out who was behind him, obviously.
[ She too will sigh, now trying to calm her temper. Although the words Naegi is speaking only causes her to frown. More administrators? This is sounding more and more like Hope's Peak by the second. At least she had adapted to such an environment already. ]
.. So it is not much different from the environment we were in before this. Have you adapted, Naegi-kun?
no subject
[There's a shake of his head as said that, even in this kind of place where everyone's trapped, the short time the bear was here in this place was just not enough of a time to unmask him.]
Yes, I have, in a sense. Enough to note some kind of pattern on which Administrator is running this month, at the very least.
no subject
[ Mostly she's mumbling to herself, only wanting to figure out the mystery and while finding out who the Mastermind was-- that was still her top priority. ]
So it switches each month then? Have you figured out how many are here, Naegi-kun? [ She might be scraping the barrel, but at least anything would do. ] The information I have already received and gathered was that there had only been one, or at least some sort of group was behind this.
Much as it was at Hope's Peak.
no subject
[He took a breath before continuing for a bit more.]
There's a fifth one, Zo, but he's younger than all of them, and is the one in charge of whoever arrived here. He's not that good at it, though, so there's moments where he summoned someone who shouldn't be summoned, like Monobear.
no subject
[ She'll keep a note to look about for those four. ]
As young as a child, Naegi-kun?! [ She's surprised but also thankful that he knows this much, it will help later down the track; so she thinks. ] At least we have the advantage of knowing, and remembering Monobear's actions.
Waiting to see what would happen should be harmless.
no subject
[something he's working on right now, tbh.]
no subject
Is it that you are already prepared?
no subject
[because there's no way his body will ever be ready for their tortures.]
no subject
[ She idly looks about, to make sure no one would be around to hear the answers she so wants to hear. After much deliberating she turns back, gaze focusing on the boy in front. ]
Perhaps it is not safe. [ Counting the last time Kirigiri had meddled too much.. now she remembers it. Almost killing Naegi or herself again is not on her list of things to repeat. ]
no subject
[The sight of her dead body dangling limply against his hands, lifeless eyes staring at him with shock lining her face.]
...Yeah, a lot.
