[ Someone who hasn't been around in a few months is back! On the consoles is a very confused princess whose looking more distressed by something other than being here. Amalia has no idea she's been gone as long as she has been. ]

Can someone please tell me what's going on? I went to 2-19 and I was told that it's not my room. I don't understand, did we get new assignments this week?

A few days? You've been gone for months! I mean, not that I've noticed or anything, but someone had to look after that garden of yours and Chompimus couldn't do it himself!

[A long pause.]

Ahem, are you well?

[ Amalia huffed, folding her arms in front of her. ]

A few months? If that's your way of saying that I've had a couple lazy days, that's completely out of line!

What?! No, what would I gain from informing you false facts? That's absurd!

You have been gone months... I should know. I searched for very long, every blasted corner of this wretched place and even blew up many minions trying to see if one had consumed you.

But no, you haven't been here for very long now...

Not people! Minions! Blowing up people would have meant I lost your bet, which I TOTALLY won by the way. Of course it ended two months ago but still!

[He grinned triumphantly.]

So with that aside... Where are you anyways?

[ Hang on, she's still processing the whole two months thing. ]

But... but why don't I remember...?

I'm on Floor 35. I wanted to come to the meadow when I couldn't find anything normal.

I'll come to you... it's easier and safer to explain than over this thing.

[Veigar didn't waste time and began heading to the meadow floor. Amalia would find that ironically enough, the garden had been taken care of and there were a few scattered belongings of one evil Yordle around when he decided to just study there.]

[ Amalia is standing at the edge of the garden, staring down at the maintained rows. It'd be impossible for someone of her heritage not to be able to tell immediately that there was indeed months of growth here.

She's just knelt down to pet some of the broad-leafed babbage plants when Veigar arrives, so he might overhear her quiet words. ]

I'm sorry...

[Veigar approached curiously, somehow he could feel an odd feeling once he saw Amalia personally though he couldn't quite place what the hell it was.

Regardless, the Yordle stopped near her and raised a brow.]

They're fine, I... well I'm not you but I'm sure I did a fair job of keeping them safe. I am Veigar after all.

[ Amalia looked up at him, a pained smile -- but a smile nonetheless -- on her face. ]

They look as healthy as ever. Are you sure you're not part Sadida?

No, nowhere even close. [He assured her before pausing and looking up in thought.]

Then again with how much is out there as far as unexplained things, one could never really know. There's always some kind of unanswered question in the cosmos or whatever you believe is out there.

[He looked back down and studied her curiously.]

Did they hurt you?

Then I suppose I'll just have to adopt you formally as one of the Sadida people. I think I can still do that, being the princess.

[ She met his gaze and shook her head. ]

I'm all right, just terribly confused. It really seems like just a few days ago I was talking with everyone. I don't remember anything.

I suppose.

[He didn't mind, it really was something that wasn't taking much of his thoughts at the moment. What was now a visible relief though was possibly because she said she was alright.]

Good then, I would have had to speed my research on how to damage this place had they harmed you.

[Wait what?]

Because! Because-- No one harms my allies.

[Yes, that was better.]

It there anything that mayhaps you need? Something to make you feel better?

Admittedly, there's little in this wretched place to take comfort in, but I feel that after a rather stressful battle, a bit of comfort always helps.

[What was that? That, was a chocolate bar he produced from his robes. Was he offering it? Who knew, he was just there, holding it out yet not really saying anything.]

[ Amalia did a double-take at Veigar's (weak) attempt at covering up what he was really saying, then looked at the offered chocolate bar. She took it, but then put both of her arms around him in a sudden hug. ]

Thank you, Veigar. I'm sorry I went away. If you'd gone away for a few months and I didn't know if you'd be back... I don't know what I would have done.

[Veigar stiffened up at the foreign action but considering he had received one from her before... he loosened up and relaxed a bit quicker, yet not really over the act just yet. However, he did return it, albeit a tad stiffly for the usually grump of a Yordle.

He held her for a bit longer than he would have liked to ad mit as he spoke.]

Uh, well.... O-of course! I wouldn't know what to do with myself if I disappeared like that as well! The all powerful Veigar cannot vanish without a trace! I'd have to rectify my disappearance....

[ The princess gave a knowing smile behind him where he couldn't see it because of the hug, but had a straight face on when she pulled back. ]

Yes, I suppose that's right. Next time I'll have to make a bigger statement than just being here one moment and gone the next.

[Veigar kept his composure, for the most part. A barely there, covered by the shadows blush might or might not be noticeable.]

Shouldn't be hard for someone like you. Just look at what you did after the destruction of most floors? It's not something most would have gone out of their ways to do, let alone have it stand as a statements of defiance against the more... depression areas in this wretched Tower.

Plus I have you to teach me, right?

[ She sits down next to some of his things. ]

You and Chompimus... come here a lot?

[He said proudly... Thought at her question he kind of tripped a bit in stance looking around to find something to place his attention on.]

Hm, well, yes. After you left someone had to take care of things! And I couldn't count on anyone else to do so...

Hm, yes indeed. He's uh, quite loving of his fellow plant-things...

[That's his story and he's sticking to it!]

[ She kneels to place her hands in the tended soil, closing her eyes and letting her power flow through the ground. All around them, the plants perked up and gained life, little flower heads turning this way and that. ]

[Veigar didn't know much about her kind of magic. That was better left to the likes of Zyra or the other planty Champions. For now, he'd take a seat on the ground while she did her thing.

He looked curious at the act however, the plants seem to be reinvigorated by her touch and seem to be more alive... But wait... there's something amiss... Can plants talk? Wouldn't they give him away if she asked?! Blasted!

Wait no, plants don't talk, not normal ones anyways... There's nothing to worry about!]

[ After a moment, she looked back up at Veigar. ]

They say thank you for taking such good care of them.

[Damn you plants! Outing him like that...]

Err... well... okay I suppose.

[Well now this turned awkward for the Yordle.]
