[His first reaction is to get angry, of course, but he stops himself before he can fire off a snarky response. He most definitely understands being guarded with information, so he's willing to cut his clearly frazzled fellow captive some slack.

The name's Mello. Should I be calling you England, or do you prefer Great Britain?

[Codenames are also another thing he understands. He is, however, being a little bit sarcastic, as any level-headed person would when confronted by a person who seems to be under the impression that they are an entire nation.]

England. I'm hardly the whole island.

[Mello can't help but chuckle at that. Either this guy has a sense of humor, he's crazy, or he really is England, and England was picky when it came to letting people know just what part of the country he was. Sounds about right.]

Oh, not much. Mainly wondering what sort of reports someone who considers themself British is supposed to give you.

Status reports. This includes their health as well as their current involvements. Personal information, too, if they are so inclined.

Well, I'm Mello, and I just woke up here about a week ago. My current status is "incredibly confused," and my current involvements include, but are not limited to, trying to get the hell out of here.
