1st call [video]
[So far, life in the Tower hasn’t been so bad for Jungo Torii. He has good company in Jungo the feline, and he’s rather fond of his roommates when he’s had the time to speak to them. He’s met some nice people close to his own age in the Tower, too. Sure, the monsters are a bit of a drag, but he’s kind of used to them. What he’s not used to is the limited menu. He should be able to make chawanmushi whenever he wants, and he can’t here. It’s a travesty.
With that in mind, he stands in front of one of the terminals for a moment. He’s seen other people talk with these things before, so...]
Hi? ...Hey. My name is Jungo Torii. Mm, it’s nice to meet you. Let's do our best together.
[It’s best to just get that out of the way, he thinks. He should probably smile, too, but instead he just looks angry.]
I’ve been here for a few weeks, but I don’t know what I’m supposed to feed my demons. They’re hungry, too, I think. I’ve never fed them before, though. Does anyone know what they eat?
[He looks back over his shoulder, unintentionally allowing the camera to see the space behind him where a samurai cat(?) is waving his flags around obnoxiously, almost like he’s pretending to dance. Jungo looks a moment longer at Neko Shogun, then turns his face back to the terminal.]
...And does anyone have kamaboko? Jungo usually eats chawanmushi, but I can’t make chawanmushi without kamaboko. All the food is heart-shaped now...it makes me sad. And Jungo’s going to be sad without his favorite food. If anyone knows where to find some, I’ll make you delicious food, too.
[He's actually talking about his cat there, but who can tell? He's silent for a long moment before he nods.]
Thanks. Let me know.

Jungo #1. [ Pointing at the screen at him. Then pointing in the distance where the other thing is. ] Jungo #2.
There.. now I get it.

[Now it's just going to get worse. He turns over his shoulder to look at Neko Shogun, and he jumps onto his chair and waves the flags harder at being spotted.
...]
I don't see him.

[video] Let's hear it for Libras!
*A pause.*
Ah...that's a demon?
*The armor certainly looks...yeah, he can believe it. ...And he has no idea what to say to someone who seems so friendly and open to cooperation but allies with a demon. Maybe if he just ignored the demon - the idea of them is near inextricably tied up with "evil" for him, so it's a little hard to combine the ideas. Like with Aleph, chances are he'll only acknowledge the demons if they don't look particularly demonic or if he has no other choice. It's all in the interest of not starting conflicts.*
[video] someone's gotta keep the peace
[Hi, Jungo doesn't know your name, but he'll cook for you.]
His name is Neko Shogun. He's not going to hurt anyone, I promise.
[video] yep...
I look forward to it. *A pause as he watches the hints of the demon's flags behind him.*
Neko Shogun... *He repeats the odd name.* I've never heard of a demon like him. But then...there are likely many demons we know nothing about.

*It's funny, he's never once encountered a normal cell phone, despite Lucifel's assurance they're common in the future.*

Most breeds of fiend where I'm from are omnivorous and resilient eaters; if yours are anything similar they should be able to subsist on almost anything and go a good tick between meals if nothing's to be had.

...!]
You...you're a talking dog! Are you a demon, too?
...Although I'm hardly a representative example of the type.
[He flashes a bright, amicable grin.]
A'kin the Friendly Fiend, pleased to make your acquaintance.
[He clearly doesn't get it. The balance and chaos stuff goes right over his head. He'll just have to take A'kin's word for it.]
Mm, it's good to meet you, too. I'm Jungo. I tried feeding them carrots and meat, but they didn't really like either.
Re: [video]
As for your dilemma.... It may be that your world's demons require a more specialized diet than mine- or it may be that you just have a choosy bunch. Just because a body can eat almost anything doesn't mean they'll necessary enjoy all of it, after all.
If you say so.
There's not a lot of ingredients in the cafeteria. I can't make them anything good lately. What would you feed him?
