[Genesis Rhapsodos stares into the monitor for a few good minutes, clearly thinking of what to say as she takes all that she saw and did and learned so far today. It was really all mind boggling and utterly depressing. Finally, she sighed softly, her mako blue eyes lowering as she murmured to herself.]

Dreams of the morrow hath the shattered soul
Pride is lost
Wings stripped away, the end is nigh...

[She sighed again and lifted her eyes.]

My name is Genesis Rhapsodos and it looks as though I am to be joining you here. I've already eaten the oatmeal, as I was told to do. But now I wonder what to do now.

Can anyone tell me or will I be doomed to spend the rest of my days here?

Is there hope?

There are many books to read in the library, and there are a number of monsters to fight. If you cannot fight, I can assist you.

There is no conclusive proof that our worlds have been destroyed.

[She is silent for a few moments, unable to really comprehend what she is seeing. It's... it's Sephiroth! But he's so small! How? Last she saw, he was certainly not a child!

And she couldn't help but think about how adorable he is.]

You know me? [So she did recognize him.] How do you know me? Were we friends? [He has a sense of having friends, but there are so many gaps in his memory, frustratingly, when he tries to think about that time. He wonders why. What he remembers about Genesis is the sense of having a friend, the color red, and a few other scraps of things. Could this really be his friend?]

I enjoy reading and fighting. [It's hard to say which he enjoys more.] There are also many interesting people here. [Warriors and magicians!]

I don't know. I have been here more than a month, and I have found no proof.

SOLDIER? I was never in SOLDIER. It has been disbanded.

[Confusing. He's not sure what to make of this new information.] I knew a Genesis, but Genesis was my age. We were friends. [But suddenly, he's not so sure of these fractured memories. He should be able to remember his friends more clearly, shouldn't he?]

I like to read about science and different kinds of magic. [In short: non fiction and no poetry whatsoever.] What is LOVELESS?

There are people from many different worlds and times. Most of them are not from Gaia. They have different kinds of magic and technology.

You were. Or you will be. For a time, anyway.

[She tilted her head at this new information.] I was only friends with Angeal when I was your age. Are you sure?

[Ugh, science.] LOVELESS is an epic poem that is also a play.

Mm, that sounds very intriguing.

I do not know. SOLDIER was disbanded after the calamity, when Midgar was destroyed.

I was asleep for more than twenty years. I do not know why. I may have been injured. [It's an odd fact, but he relates it calmly. He's in the dark himself, where that's concerned.] There are things I cannot remember, and I do not know what happened while I was asleep.

How odd. Then, how have you not ages in those twenty years?

I don't know. I awakened in Midgar, alone. The researchers are all dead.

I was in the care of Mr. Valentine. He and the WRO might know more, but he is not here.

Hm. [And she was sealed away so she didn't even know what WRO was. However, she did have a small idea.] Was Midgar whole when you awoke?

Midgar was destroyed. That was why the researchers were all dead. There was a calamity. I do not know what it was.

[No one had really explained it to him to his satisfaction.]

[She had an idea about what it was. But if she told him, she would have to explain herself and that was probably not for the best at this very moment.]

I see. Well, I'm sure you'll find out soon enough.

Maybe if I return to Gaia, but I don't know if I will be able to go back.

Even if our worlds are not destroyed, we may be unable to return.

I suppose that is the mystery of a lifetime, hm? I'm sure we'll find a way. We were able to get here in some fashion, after all. Whose to say we can't return?

There is no proof we cannot return.

Often people disappear from here. It is possible they return home. But when they disappear, a grave appears on the graveyard floor.
