Though perhaps "Do you feel such a foolish endeavor is worth the resulting pain when you're left behind?" would be a better phrasing. Regardless- your thoughts?

Family is different, in my opinion. If you won't at least die for them, then you don't deserve to have them.

It is, of course- but some people stop themselves, and others would prefer not to have to.
