[Standing in front of the machine known as the terminal, Thorin frowned. He had only figured out how to work this from others he had met upon arriving into the tower. He hoped his calls would be answered as he was not in the best of moods right now. Being kidnapped was something any dwarf objected to.]

If anyone is listening to this, I have some questions. Do you know who abducted us from our world and placed us within this tower? I demand to be told why and if there is a way out. [There has to be.]

Also, is there anywhere to find food and drink as I am rather hungry and thirsty. I cannot live on fresh air alone.

[This was directed to his captors, whomever they might be.]

I urge someone to answer this as I am need of aid and answers. I will not be held in this prison willingly. Know this.

Ju-ju-just got here! I wa-wa-was lookin' at all those stairs. Hear there's an el-elevator too but that's gonna take a while t'get down.

Ha-haven't found the exit yet though.

Hear there's a cafeteria there. S'got food. N-n-n-not good food, 'parently but food.

Hey! How 'bout we bo-both take the elevator down an' see what's goin' on there?

[He was a bit unsure about this creature but it seemed to be harmless so far. Thorin nodded.]

Very well. I haven't eaten since I arrived so I could do with something to fill my stomach.

[Really, Rabbit was as harmless as one could get. No need to worry about him.]

S-say, what's your name, bu-buddy? I ca-ca-can't call ya shorty or anythin'!

[Okay okay got it you're names not Shorty. He'll pass it along if any of his siblings come here because The Jon will totally call you that too.]

Oh! Yer a King! Well excuse me, I didn't put on my nice coat for today, di-di-didn't know I'd be me-meetin' a king!

[And it all sounds very serious. Rabbit isn't kidding, you're a king? Super cool!]

Thorin will do just fine. Are you going to take me to this cafeteria or not?

[Sorry he can't help himself. He grins brightly and nods]

Su-sure! C'mon, lets g-g-go.

What's it like bein' ki-king? I've ne-never met a king before.

[He starts striding off for the elevator, steps heavy and long.]

I do not know as I have never sat upon my throne as king yet. A foul dragon stole that luxury from me. As well as my kingdom. [His tone was bitter, anger rising from within.]

I was snatched from my quest by this cursed tower.

O-oh... S-s-s-somone went and pulled somethin' on ya huh...

[The jovial tone in his voice sinks. Well, it sucks, someone taking everything away from you! He frowns, hunching his shoulders a bit.]

An' th-then this place g-g-goes an' steals ya. It's a lo-loada hogwash, tellin' us our homes are gone. Balongna, I tell ya.

Don't worry, w-w-we'll ge-getcha ba-back home. An' then you'll go an' make purses an' pants outta that dragon! Right?

[He did appreciate the man's hope for Thorin and his people. Aye. He would gladly make a hide out of Smaug's scaled hide.]

I seek to smite the beast down with my sword and axe. Hew it's filthy head from it's shoulders. Nay, I will never achieve that aim while stuck in here.

S-s-sounds like it'll ma-make a great story when ya win. Write a le-letter ta me when ya get back and ya beat that dragon inside out. I wanna hear about it!

A song? [This caused the dwarf to raise an eyebrow.]

Are you a musical man, Rabbit? We dwarves enjoy a good song and drink around the fire. [He nodded.] Aye. There has to be a way out of here somewhere.

The cafeteria. Lead on.

Yeah! I go-go-got tons of songs! I've be-be-been writin' 'em for one hundred an' seventeen years. Professional singer!

Ca-ca-can't really drink though. No stomach.

Ri-right! I remember!

[Aaaaand here's the elevator! Ready for the longest elevator ride ever?]

No stomach? What kind of creature are you? [He was no man if he could not eat nor drink. Thorin got into the elevator and studied Rabbit. The creature confused him.]

A steam powered robut!

[He removes his hat to show off the rest of his head. All shiny copper and iron. Well... not really so shiny, there's green patina everywhere. Looks like someone is a bit lackadasical about polishing]

Me an' my brothers are singing mu-mu-musical automatons.

You're a robot? [Thorin just stared for a moment before frowning. This place was odd. A mechanical man. Whatever next?]

There are none like you from where I hail from.

That's right!

Really? N-n-n-not a one? Huh... We-we-well you should get some! We're great ta have around!

Nay, I come from a world different from yours. We have many different creatures but none made from metal.
