First Wind (video)
[The network is happily greeted by the face of a young man with surprisingly golden hair staring into the screen. It's hard to guess what he's feeling right now, seeing as how he was given the news that his world was destroyed. However, that didn't seem to phase him much, so he's not as shocked as others might be. He's relieved to know that some of his possessions came with him, but...
Enough contemplation, he finally begins to speak up.]
A shame, isn't it? That our worlds are gone? It's nothing that I would have expected in the first place, seeing as it's a bit hard to believe. However, I'll have to put my trust into it that my world is actually gone. Needless to say, I'll be missing my partners over there- unless some of them were brought here, as well. If you've ever heard of a Guido Mista, or Trish Una, please contact me.
...ah, I suppose I should introduce myself in the meantime. My name is Giorno Giovanna, and I greet all of you who were taken to this "Tower". Hopefully time will tell if I enjoy this place, or not. The atmosphere is...undesirable, however. But I'm sure some of you might have gathered that much in time.
...also, if anyone is kind enough to show me around, I would be grateful to you. I need to learn about as much of this place as I can before I can truly adventure and claim certain parts as safe. Also, a bit off the subject, but have any of you heard of what a "Stand" is? If you have, then let me know. I have some...things I'll be needing of you.

I'm sorry then. I didn't mean to be nosy. However..you're right, almost everyone has their share of worries and burdens. I tend to worry, sometimes, if we'll be able to bring everyone back to life, if we even can restore the universes, and if I'll be able to keep my friends safe.
[And her secrets safe.]
But..worrying doesn't tend to get me anywhere, so even though I do fret, I try not to and work towards my goals, so that everything can be safe.
[Tohko's smile grew a bit at the mention of the library though.]
Exactly! There's and endless amount of books here! The nineteenth floor carries the nonfictional books, and the third floor carries the fiction.
[Action]
Don't, after all, we're acquaintances now. And we should be able to tell each other what's on our mind without uncertainty, right? I'm sorry that I didn't seem to think it through when I mentioned it. But, I suppose I'll be striving for the same things you are at the moment.
[Hopefully that would be enough to put her worries at rest.]
Of course, after all, that's all anyone can do right now...work and achieve their goals.
[A nod, followed by a raised eyebrow at the mention of the library.]
...Ah. I didn't realize they separated everything into rooms...I'll be sure to check both soon enough, seeing as how I'm going to find something to occupy my time with.
[Action]
Alright then! I just know that even friends can get annoyed when someone gets too nosy. But don't worry about that! That happens to everyone sometimes, even me. But I am glad that we'll both be working towards our goals.
[Tohko looked a little puzzled when Giorno mentioned that he didn't know the libraries were separated. Sure, he was a new arrival here, but it was normal for the library to separate sections, even if they were in the same building.]
Really? It's normal, at least where I'm from, to keep the sections separate. But the library will keep you occupied for a long time, if you're looking for something to do!
[Action]
[A slight smirk appears on his face momentarily, before he actually shakes it off. He didn't mean for it to come out like that, so he has an apologetic look on his face afterwards.]
I wouldn't know where to begin in a library, actually, seeing as how I've been occupied with much more back from where I came from. But here, it should be a little relaxing.
[Action]
Besides..after you spent some time with Wilhelm, who talked about killing millions like he was talking about what he had for dinner the other day, you tended to get used to these things.]
I don't really know what sort of fate would fall on them..but I'm not sure it would be a pleasant one. However, if you ever want a good place to start in the fictional library, you can always ask me! I'll be more than happy to help out!
[Action]
[That was a small joke to himself, but he seems to at least take some joy in talking to other people in a place as bleak as the one they're in. Even more so that he's tapping his toe, and examining the mail room even further.]
How long until your little friend arrives?
[Action]
[At the question, Tohko sighed and thought for a moment before giving an answer, scratching her head. Numbers had never been her thing.]
An hour, or an hour and a half, at the least.
[Action]
[Although it can be said that Giorno will go to a lengths to actually find a book suited for him- maybe something about Italian history can tide him over for a while...or a children's book.]
Hm. Well, that'll give us ample time for you to show me where other things lie in this tower, no?
[Action]
[It he was going to go to great lengths for those books, Tohko would help him search, if she ever saw him searching.]
I believe it will! What other places are you curious about? Anything you're interested in?
[Action]
[But he paused a bit, trying to see if there was a place he would enjoy in particular...]
...ah. There wouldn't happen to be a place where one could go to relax when they feel the need to wind down? If that makes any sense.
[Action]
And that does make a lot of sense! Don't worry, I sometimes rest in a few floors when I need to. The twenty-fifth floor has a meadow, and the monsters never go there, if you want a break from them. There's also a beach floor, if you like the ocean.
[Action]
But a meadow, you say? [He's thinking...] ...I would like to go there, if you would.
[Action]
[Action]
[Action]
[And, if Giorno didn't mind, Tohko would be grabbing his hand again before running out of the mail room and rushing up the stairs.]
[Action]
[And he's being dragged off again. Again, he's not really going to say much about it, he's just going along with whatever Tohko does and whatever whims she has.]
[Action]
It's..something I can..look forward to too!
[And with that, she would press the call button.]
[Action]
You do know that you may be exhausting yourself too much here. It might be a little better if we took things slowly, wouldn't it?
[Action]
Oh, don't worry! I'm alright! I'm like a velociraptor, so I run out of breath when I run for long periods sometimes, but I'm good at getting my energy back. We'll be okay. Besides, it's just one more elevator trip to the meadow floor!
[Action]
A velociraptor? Heh, I hadn't expected such an analogy to be made in the first place, but then again.. [More light chuckling as he taps his fingers on her shoulder.] You're an interesting one.
[Action]
Of course! It would be terrible if I was boring. Plus, I am a book girl, so I have read of them a little, as well as stories that dealt with them.
[Action]
Hm, I couldn't exactly imagine what it would be like if you were boring actually. I'm sure these conversations wouldn't be nearly as interesting, but... [His tapping on her shoulder stops as he hand sort of rests there.] I'm glad that you're providing ample entertainment.
[Action]
I can't really imagine that I would be able to help out anyone or pull through here if I changed that much. But hopefully I'm being more than entertaining to you!
[At that, the elevator doors finally opened. Without warning, Tohko..tried to grab the hand that was on her shoulder before running into the elevator, dragging Giorno along if she was successful, and hitting the button for floor twenty-five, which would cause the elevator doors to close and make Tohko let go of Giorno's hand.]
