Hello to those I have not met yet. My name is Tear Grants. I am the companion of the two Luke fon Fabres, Asch the Bloody and Guy Cecil that have resided in the tower for a while now. After some discussion, I have decided to offer healing and fighting lessons twice a week in the meadow on the twenty-fifth floor. The first time will be on the 17th at 8pm. The second will be the 20th at 8pm. All are welcome to join me to learn. I'm sure that there will be other magic users and fighters, if you are not interested in learning in how to heal.

[Sheba raises an eyebrow.]

My title is "Sheba, Child of the Gods, Holy Child of Lalivero," but you don't see people going around calling me that all the time, even if that is how I'm introduced to them the first time we've met. Are you really telling me you've called him "Asch the Bloody" every time you've spoken of him since your first meeting?

The Seventh Fonon is different, but this is also my opportunity to find out how much different it is from other kinds of magic. Think of it as...research.

[Even if that is more to Jade's specialty that her own, she's always been interested in the difference in the artes styles of the other members of her group. Just not enough to make a huge deal about it.]

Not really. Our first meeting consisted of trying to keep him from killing myself and my traveling companions. I used Asch's title to avoid any confusion, since there might be other people with the same sounding name.

Isn't it dangerous for people who aren't Seventh Fonists to even try and use it? Research all you want, and I'll come so you can see what magic from my world is like, but... be careful, okay?

[She tilts her head to the side, studying the text on the screen intently. She can't help but frown at the words.]

He doesn't really introduce himself with his title here - not that I've seen. More people know him as "Asch." [In other words, the use of the title might be causing more confusion than simply saying "Asch" would have.] He's more than just his title... and I don't think there are many people with names that sound similar to his. It's not the most common of names.

There is a simple test that all recruits into the Order are asked to take to determine if they are able to use the Seventh Fonon. It is not dangerous and would only take a few moments. Those who cannot can be trained in either magic if they can wield that or fighting.

It is good to know what Asch refers to himself as in this tower. He and I have had one conversation since I arrived, and I don't know all of the residents here. I figured that his title would cut down any confusion in a post.

[Sheba opens her mouth to say something more, but is apparently distracted by something else on her screen -]

Huh?

[...that'll be her reading Asch's comment on Tear's post, and then flushing a mortified red as she realizes that he'd seen the exchange. Oops. The red just darkens as she realizes that the terminal is still recording.]

[It doesn't take a genius to notice that Sheba realized that Asch probably knew about their thread. Not that Tear cared. She'd said as much to Asch once or twice, and he was a fellow Seventh Fonist, he should have had the test administered when he joined the Order. Unless Van made sure he skipped that. Which, considering things, was perfectly reasonable.]
