I'm The Doctor, but most of you know that.

What you don't know--or rather, who--is the Ponds. My Ponds. My absolute favorite, simply incredibly, delightfully average, one half mad ginger, one half large-nosed Roman, couple. They're here, and I want you all to know that Team Pond Doctor--or maybe Doctor Pond--is working on helping you all escape.

[He frowns a little, and his voice lowers.] I realize that I've...failed you recently, but I want you to know that it won't happen again. And if any of you need anything, do not hesitate to ask me for help.

[a pause, as from the other side, she smiles, and her voice has a more chipper tone to it

Not too bad, actually. [And for once he even looks it. There's a soft sort of clam in his voice, something the Doctor hasn't heard from him yet]
