Also who wants to take bets on this Jason month being extra horrible? Just as a public service announcement:

Asking him to take you instead of other people doesn't work. At all. I mean yeah you'll get what they got or were going to get, but they'll still get hurt. So don't be an idiot.

My voice keeps cracking. Is that normal? And I think some of my clothes are starting to get a little tight.

Is this what puberty is like? I don't like it.

As far as it exposed a flaw. I can't imagine it's a very useful one, however, not without careful planning beforehand and plenty of luck.

However, they wanted to do something and they did. I can't say they failed.

Yeah though there's a lot of us who aren't into your big plots and stuff and are just trying to live until the next day

This wasn't mine and I took no part in it. *Except investigating the emptied infirmary. Oh well, this person probably knows his ID from that other post.* But I have done some. I'm sorry, for anything any of these things, whether I had a part in them or not, have done to you.

But we can't just keep trying to live like this. If we could do anything without disturbing life for other people, we would, and if such a chance arises we will take it.

We want the pain to end. We want to do something and not be helpless, powerless. That's all we want.

There's a difference between doing something and doing a stupid something.

Then again I guess I don't know the details, so whatever. I'm just trying to have as much of a normal life as I can get since the conditions here are at least sometimes better than those at home. At least there's reliable food even if I don't trust anything related to nutrition bars.

... It's still food though.

*He knew. He knew some people had lives worse than this place. He knew he would have to wind up hurting people he never had to, for all the people who needed to get out of here. There were children here, children he didn't want to see suffer any more, and to do that they had to secure their safety. Even if it meant an upheaval first. The demons had to be let out before hope could be found.

But did he ever feel like a demon himself for it sometimes.*

We'll do all we can to ensure everyone gets the best they can out of this in the end. I promise, I have not forgotten those who are better off here than at home. I do not know how yet, but there is much for us to learn, still. We will do what we can with what we find.
