[It hurt. Everything hurt. Existing alone ached and burned through what Labrys could only describe as her 'heart'. She'd been in a daze since dying to those shadows that whispered such horrible things--things that still echoed and bounced around in her head. Labrys heard the voices of her friends and sisters saying such cruel, hateful things and it hurt more than she could measure.]
[She wanted to forget. Forget like she'd forgotten before, when she had constructed the illusion of a human body and another life--a better life, just like any other student.]
[Exhausted, she dropped into a chair on floor ninety-six and leaned on the table in front of her, head resting on folded arms. Eventually, Labrys forgot why she'd been so tired and distraught in the first place.]
[...Then she forgot what she'd been doing the past few weeks.]
[After a while she forgot a great deal more, not the least of which being why she'd sat down in the first place. Was this not an inefficient use of time? Logic processors indicated this was not the Kirijo laboratory. Advisable course of action: find information. Standing, the robot girl somewhat stiffly walked until she encountered a terminal.]
[Her face was largely passive and expressionless, voice still holding its accent but utterly devoid of its usual life or energy.]
My sensors are indicatin' an unknown environment. Ain't sure if this is a new method of testin' capabilities. Unit number 031, requestin' and awaitin' orders.
[Oh, shit.]

This is why.]
Labrys, I know this might seem odd, but I would ask you to trust me. Your memory has been temporarily erased. That is the danger of that room you woke up in. It will returned, but it will take time.
I am sure you have already done this, but have you checked to be sure there is no damage to any of your processes? Especially those related to memory?
[Diarmuid is aware of how the floor functions for humans, but Labrys is not human physically even if her heart and soul are. He's not sure if that means the room would work differently for her or not. He also doesn't have any way of knowing just how long she was in there for...]

If there is no damage to your systems, then your memory will return. However, this place is not the safest to wonder around without knowing certain things. Do you really not remember anything at all about this place or the people in it? Take a few moments to be sure. Look for anything...even just something small. A name or a face. Let me start you off with a few names. Do any of these bring back memories: Dax, Zo, Riki, Jason, or Ruana?

...A scan of my archives yields no results regardin' those names.

This is probably boring, but will you listen to another list of name for me? I promise this is the last. I am just trying to see how complete the memory lost is. The names are: Yukiko, Hidetoshi, Diarmuid, Aigis, and Ariadne.
Do any of those mean anything to you? Search not just your databases, but your heart and soul as well.
[Because if the last two don't cause at least some kind of emotional response...]

Your heart and soul are what make you human. It's the seat of your emotions and memories--the things that make you, you. Is there nothing you are feeling right now that you don't understand or can't explain through other methods?

[It hurts Diarmuid to hear her talk like this since he know how hard she has fought to understand who and what she is. She is so much more than just a machine built to fight.]
I realize this might be hard for you to do right now, but can you try to look into yourself to find something that is...different from what you expect? It's not a system and it's not part of a process, yet it is still there all the same.
[If she has forgotten what her heart and soul feel like, then he needs to help her find them again. Hopefully, once she does that, it will help her regain her memories that much faster especially since he believes that memory is a part of the heart and soul and can ever fully be parted from them.]
