This is Minato Arisato. I’ve been absent for the past month due to being sent home. Would anyone mind filling me in on what happened while I was gone?
[He already have the basics from Yu. But what if his roommate was unaware of other things? Hence the question.]
For a lighter question, what are some of your favourite activities/hobbies?
[A seemingly innocent, useless question. But it’s a topic Minato purposely choose for this just to talk to people, either via text or audio or just face to face. As long people talks, he's happy.]

[If only she knew how unpleasant the answer to her last question actually was...]
that can happen? but aren't the worlds destroyed? they seem to support no life at all. how could you survive?
Text
[Her other question is easier for him to answer this time, now that he's more aware of what's going on. As well as the nature of their current existence.]
Yes, our worlds are destroyed. Only our souls was brought into the tower because our bodies was destroyed. Which means just my soul returned to the world.
Text
our bodies were destroyed??? really???
[There's a significant pause in the electronic conversation, before another line appears.]
that would explain how you could return safely.
i must research this further. this changes things so much.
Text
Which means the body we're inhabiting in is our replacement body.
[A logical thing to bring up. Minato already have gotten used to the fact, as long his soul stay reasonably intact.]
Text
if they were going to make a replacement body for me i would have preferred that they make one that is far better than the one i have now.
[And another of those pauses in communication.]
this isn't very light conversation. i'm sorry.
Text
I don't have them on me, and I need to recreate my notes about this again. I don't know if who have their own copies. It's also risky to put it up on the network in case it ever get taken down.
As for the body, I assume it's made for convenience instead of strength. But I recommend avoiding dying too often. Death isn't permanent for us here (we just get a new body), but it's usually better to avoid it unless you can't escape. There are times when it's easier to die instead of escaping.
Text
this body is hardly convenient. but that's my own problem. death isn't permanent??? that's funny. i have experience with that. i would rather not die and rise again if i can help it. i do appreciate the advice, however. i'll be sure to remember it.
Text
Whenever we die, they would get our body and move our souls into a new one. When we wake up, we would have sleep paralysis. The paralysis will be longer with each new death.
Keep that in mind just in case you do die.
Text
you've died before, haven't you? i'm sorry. it's common to die here, isn't it?i haven't been able to get a straight answer from anyone, but i'm starting to draw conclusions.
Text
[Or not, depending on your view.]
I say it's fairly common. While you can learn how to defend yourself and how to avoid the monsters on many of the floors, there are many opportunities where it's easy to die.
Text
are there many here that aren't? that would need protection?
Text
Text
you know how to defend yourself, yes???
[It's okay to worry a little for the nice person writing these nice words, right?]
Text
[A very simplistic view for his Personas, but it's easier to explain it in person, when he can summon and demonstrate it.]
But I appreciate your concern. [A brief pause, as Minato reread their conversation.] If you don't mind, may I have your name?
Text
i don't mind. i'm annika whittenberg.
how do you make this thing produce capital letters, anyway???
Text
It's nice to meet you, Whittenberg-san.
You can get capital letters by holding down the shift button and pressing the letter you want. You can also use this for producing the symbols on top, such as "?" above the "/" button.
Alternatively, you can press the Caps lock button to type completely in capital letters. But you must press it again to disable it.
Text
@#$%^&*
Defined symbols. That's interesting. I'll have to experiment with that. Thank you, Mr. Arisato.
I don't care for the sound of floors where I can't use magic. I'll have to find myself a staff after all. No one saw fit to leave me mine when they brought me here. Do you know if there are any craftsmen here?
Re: Text
Not personally, so you have to ask someone about it. My sword worked well for me and I haven't seek a replacement yet.
