This is Minato Arisato. I’ve been absent for the past month due to being sent home. Would anyone mind filling me in on what happened while I was gone?

[He already have the basics from Yu. But what if his roommate was unaware of other things? Hence the question.]

For a lighter question, what are some of your favourite activities/hobbies?

[A seemingly innocent, useless question. But it’s a topic Minato purposely choose for this just to talk to people, either via text or audio or just face to face. As long people talks, he's happy.]

One day I cut a monster in half with my chainsaw and both halves kept on running for a little while.

[Yes, he's sure. For some odd reason.]

That's interesting. I don't think I fought that particular monster yet. Or I did, but I never cut them in half like that.

It's pretty funny to see. I think he must have been confused when both his halves started running in both directions.

[ Although he.. probably wasn't aware of that.. that's not how bodies work, Urotsuki. ]

Do you think he knows what's going on?

[Because...yeah.]

Of course. You can't walk without knowing what's going on. That'd be silly.

Yeah, you would notice if your legs are going in different direction.

So he's just confused. Maybe scared as well.

Well, he's dead now. So it doesn't matter. Nobody will ever know his feelings about it ever again.

It's too bad. But that's something to think about for another time.

Just not while dealing with monsters.

I'll think about it when I sleep. Maybe I'll dream then about monsters running everywhere, cut in half. There'll be a whole lot of them, so maybe one of them will tell me what it feels like.

It'd be pretty painful if I had to try it myself, after all. [ Urotsuki.... ]

Maybe. Since it's your dreams, they would be friendlier than the monsters out here.

So it's easier on all counts.

[Never mind that if it's her dream, the dream-monsters only knows as much as she do...]

Yeah, the monsters in my dreams are usually friendly.

And they make such funny noises when they die. [ UM. ]

What kind of funny noises?

Sort of like a squish when I cut them. And sometimes they scream. I like it when they scream.

[ And yet it's not meant in a malicious way at all... ]

[Almost like how a child is fascinated whenever they play with insects' lives.

Wait.]

Isn't it weird to like screams?

[ She.. doesn't even know... ]

It depends on why you like them.

[There's a difference between enjoying a fictional character's suffering and a real, living being's suffering.]

Well, they sound funny. Everyone likes funny sounds.

Like clown horns. That's another funny sound. [ THAT'S NOT EVEN REMOTELY SIMILAR TO SCREAMS.. ]

Yeah. I guess it's a matter of preferences. Not everyone find the same things funny.

[ It's not even her being mad or upset, it's just that she's so used to people calling her that so she's keeping a count.. ]

Just unique and different.
