Chatlog 002 ☣ We're young and we're bored

So I hear tell about some pretty interesting people around here- namely, all you 'Servants' or Heroic Spirits or whatever.

[She leans forward, chin in her hands, and taps her fingers against her cheeks.]

You guys have got to tell me some stories. Being all legendary has to make for some interesting stuff to share.

[She makes a slight face.]

It'll sure beat waiting for terrible stuff to happen at least, right?

[You can all blame Archer and Lancer.]

That's true...but if you're a human, you wouldn't want us Servants to go hard on you.

[Overpowered Servants are overpowered.]

[She chuckles at him.]

Oh, is that all?

[Give her a second to let the cloneblade work it's magic, so she can tap an armor-coated and clawed finger against her cheek.]

Don't worry about me, Hound. I'm real sturdy.

...In that case, you're welcome to try. And if you ever get done with Archer, fancy a spar with me?

Why wait? I'm always up for a go.

[And that's, honestly, the most excited she's sounded the whole conversation.

Pardon her, Lancer- the cloneblade makes her really like her violence.]

Where are you? I'll come right over. Gotta warn you, though. I'm stronger than Diarmuid is.

Bumming around in the media room. We should probably go somewhere that we can break things.

[Her eyes flash at that declaration though, tongue running over her teeth. In the back of her mind, the cloneblade's influence spikes in anticipation.]

Is that a fact now? Doesn't sound like a bad thing to me.

The gym? I've seen people using it for sparring before.

Of course it is! I'm only the greatest hero Ireland has every produced!

That's where I had the last spar, so that works.

[Oh, oh, but that is just... she gives a slightly airy, breathless laugh, like she can hardly breathe for how excited she is.]

Then I'm sure you won't disappoint.

And I'm sure you won't either.

[He reaches to turn off the consul.]

I'll see you at the gym.

[Almost purred-]

See you there.

[And she turns in a whirl of girl and living armor, only barely remembering to turn the console off as she goes.]

[After a while, Lancer arrives at the gym. He carries Gae Bolg over his shoulders like others would carry a pole. And. as he stands in the gym, his posture is completely relaxed, looking more like someone headed for a walk in the park than a spar.

[Asagi, on the other hand, hops upward out of the staircase- her preferred method of traveling is to jump from level to level- and alights on the handrail, somehow perfectly balanced on the bladed heels of her cloneblade form. She stops and closes her eyes, taking a deep breath and letting it out in a shuddering groan.]

Ohhhhh, you weren't kidding...

[Again that breathless little laugh, her red eyes predatory as she drops onto the floor and starts walking around him.]

You really are stronger... I can feel it.

[She raises a clawed hand, beckoning with a finger, tongue sliding over her lips.]

Come on, Lancer... show me that pole's not just for show.

[He gives a quick wolf-whistle as he sees her in the flesh. He definitely likes what he sees, and her way of talking only gets him more excited.]

I'll show you. Definitely. Be careful, though. I might just take your heart in the process.

Cute.

[When she smiles, her teeth seem too bright against the blue of her skin. She braces herself momentarily, then darts forward, swinging her bladed arm.]

Careful, I might rip out yours...!

[He quickly raises his spear to block her blow. His demeanor has completely changed from his former relaxed look. Killing intent is positively pouring from him.]

Thanks for the advice, but...

[He twists his spear, trying to throw her off balance.]

...you should worry more about yourself!

Oooh, that's the spirit!

[She laughs even as she's pushed away, re-finding her balance and moving in to slash at him with the blade on her arm, throwing in the occasional- and very dangerous- kick, trying to push him into an attack.]

Gimme everything you've got!

[He blocks her kicks with his spear and, as soon as he can see an opening, thrusts right at her chest.]

[She all but throws herself backward to avoid it, bending at an angle that would be difficult for most people and bringing her arm up to parry the strike upward. She laughs again, breath speeding up, and drops to her knees in order to sweep a leg out at his ankles.]

[He doesn't even have time to get a compliment out before the kick comes. He hops into the air to avoid it, and tries to strike down at the woman from above.]

[Both arms cross up above her head, and both blades extend to take the blow, and Asagi laughs as her knees dig into the ground from the impact.]

Ooooh, do it harder, why don't you?

[But she drops out from under the blow, rolling to one side and getting to her feet, blades on her arms getting larger.]

I like a guy who can keep up.

[He grins.]

Then we have the same tastes. I look for the same things in my women.

[He doesn't wait for her to attack before launching into a series of fast thrusts, each one aimed at a vital area. If she were a regular human, then these would be considered killing blows.]

Is that right?

[She either dodges or parries most of the blow- though a few of her parries to lead to shallow cuts along an upper arm, high on a side. She pulls back to look down at a bleeding cut, sliding her fingers along it and bringing them to her mouth.]

Well then. Let's play a little rougher, shall we?

[She lowers her arms and then the blades on her arms extend to the point where they're almost as long as she is tall, and she laughs again before swinging at him full-tilt, slashing far faster than any normal person would be able to with blades that size attached to them.]

[While he can block her onslaught, he's slowly being pushed back. In addition, the slashes come so quick that he can't parry them perfectly. He finally breaks away from her by jumping back, but by then, his arms and cheeks are covered in shallow nicks.]

[Shallow nicks that knit themselves together even as he prepares to attack again.]

Looks like we're even here now. Is this the roughest that you can go?

Healing- ugh, you total cheat.

[If there's one thing he has on her it's that she doesn't heal quite so fast. But she doesn't rise to his baiting, despite how she looks him over as she adjusts her stance.]

Oh, I can- but it wouldn't be any fun if I wore you out so quickly.

[She shrugs lightly, arms motioning in an 'oh well' sort of manner even with the blades in place.]

I've got the stamina for more than this- don't you?

Of course I do. Even when I was human, I could fight a hundred men and have the energy to jump into bed with a few pretty lasses immediately after, if you know what I mean.
