I wanted to express my appreciation to whoever assisted me in the infirmary in realigning my arm, but given the state I was in at the time, I am unable to recall who that person was. If you are that individual, or if you know who that individual is, please let me know. I’d like to give them my thanks in person.

swallows his pride enough anddeigns to reply to this message. Time to quash this before it gets any more out of control.]What happened to your arm?

Big damn hero, then.

I'm far from a hero. Just a person who was doing a job that needed to be done. I have no need for accolades or praise.
no subject
[Really, he knows already but-]
And what happens if the person who helped with your injuries has no need for them either? I'm sure that the worker units in the Infirmary cannot even feel appreciation.

[Not that she gave it too much thought. She was quite busy taking out some much pent up aggression.]
If that's the case, they I doubt they'll attempt to make contact. I can understand if there is somebody who helped because of a sense of obligation or just to get a body off the table to help somebody else. But if they are the type that will accept my thanks, I am willing to offer it.

Almost.]
I think you should just forget about it. You never know the next time the admins want to pull their strings with us they might put you up against that person. It would certainly suit their tastes.
It's better to remain un-attached.

I beg to differ. It would fall in line with what the Admins might attempt to do, yes. But at the same time, if we allow such a division to form between us gives the Admins an unnecessary advantage.
Yes, we might be pitted against each other and the person who helped me might be my killer in the future. But if we keep in mind that we are being forced to take those actions - whether because we're put in a situation where we have to choose or we're manipulated through sight, sound, or mental influence - then such things can be trivial. Much like how death is.
There is greater strength in numbers than being alone. Even if I don't like the people I'm working with, so long as we have a common goal, I can overlook certain character flaws.

Strength in numbers there is. But, bear in mind, all unified together - we lose ourselves. We forget that which made us strong on our own.
no subject
Does it make sense? To be so....afraid of the person they assisted in their time of need because of what the Admin's might do. They can only break us if we let them - and by your argument, whoever assisted me is already broken and afraid. Which is rather sad. Their work is quite good.
You are entitled to your viewpoint on the matter, but I for one disagree. We aren't made weaker by numbers. We are made stronger by those we surround ourselves with that better us.

[Broken and afraid. Impossible. Unacceptable.]
Souls surrounding souls, until we lose ourselves within the flow and are forever as one current.
[That's the only clue he's giving you and he may well have already given the game away with that statement.
There will not be a further reply.]

[Oh-ho~. That comment is far too revealing and, for a second, she's almost convinced that it was an accident. Except that nothing in this place truly happens by accident.]
A fear I can understand coming from you, anon. Still, hiding behind anonymity doesn't feel like your style. Next time, how about just responding? What's the worst that can happen?
[And she'll just leave that message there. There won't be any further replies on her end either.]
Audio;
Do you still need some more help, maybe healing? This is Ishtar by the way if you can't recognize my voice.
Audio;
[Elena breathes a little chuckle, mouth curling into a grin]
I'm all right for the most part. Though, any help in alleviating any of the ache would be appreciated. The realignment that was done was done well and the splint is doing well, but that doesn't stop the dull throbbing.
Audio;
[ Ishtar was worried about her because she knew that wounds like this could be awfully painful and would take a long time ot heal. ]
I can heal the arm completely, and relieve any pain, but the thing is, it will take some time for you to fully be able to use it a hundred percent because it can still be strained. If you want, I can definitely repair so it's functional.
Audio
[It takes her a moment to think. An arm that is more quickly healed, even if it wasn't entirely functional yet? And the pain was gone.]
I think I can live with that. Better to have it healed and pain-free, even if it means I have to be gentle with it. Do you have time to meet?
Audio
[ Ishtar's ability was made for that at the very least. She had yet to take the fluid that was going around. At least, these so-called fake abilities would serve a simple purpose for the time. ]
I think it's a good choice, so you can be able to walk around without having to worry about damaging it.and sure Elena. I'm totally open to meet when you want.
Audio
[There's a little chuckle coming from her end of the line.]
Agreed. I'm not of much use to my team like this. I have a few things I need to take care of first. Do you mind if I contact you later to discuss a meeting?
(ooc: Since I'm a loser and responded to later activity with a broken arm, can we have this be another meeting?)
Audio
[ Ishtar laughed along. ]
That sounds like plan. Sure, whenever you feel like contacting me, I don't mind, Elena. You know where to find me and if you can't find me on the network, the mailing system works still!
(ooc: totally fine with me! )
