I wanted to express my appreciation to whoever assisted me in the infirmary in realigning my arm, but given the state I was in at the time, I am unable to recall who that person was. If you are that individual, or if you know who that individual is, please let me know. I’d like to give them my thanks in person.

[There is a significant amount of time that passes before he even swallows his pride enough and deigns to reply to this message. Time to quash this before it gets any more out of control.]

What happened to your arm?

Nasty. Those things were tough.

Big damn hero, then.

I wonder why that was.

[Really, he knows already but-]

And what happens if the person who helped with your injuries has no need for them either? I'm sure that the worker units in the Infirmary cannot even feel appreciation.

[Touche. Elena. You almost turned it on it's head then.

Almost.]

I think you should just forget about it. You never know the next time the admins want to pull their strings with us they might put you up against that person. It would certainly suit their tastes.

It's better to remain un-attached.

That person who helped you could well have been made to help you at that time, either directly or by circumstance. Only for them later to be made to kill you. Just to satisfy some Admin-level kink in how it could break both of you to their whims - it makes sense why this person remains elusive to you.

Strength in numbers there is. But, bear in mind, all unified together - we lose ourselves. We forget that which made us strong on our own.

I guess you'll never know, unless this person comes forward.

[Broken and afraid. Impossible. Unacceptable.]

Souls surrounding souls, until we lose ourselves within the flow and are forever as one current.

[That's the only clue he's giving you and he may well have already given the game away with that statement.

There will not be a further reply.]
