[Santana is just going to lean against the wall by the computer terminal, arms crossed, with a smug expression on her face. When Condesce finally does come, Santana looks surprised. For a moment she may even look worried considering she was wrong, this troll is a bit intimidating]

A trident? What are you, the little mermaid?

[Condesce is much taller than most of the other trolls, even most of the adults considering her age and her status. The gown and nest of cthulu hair speak for themselves, as do her rows of shark-like teeth, which she flashes at the human in a most bloodthirsty fashion.

She didn't brandish the weapon yet, the subtle clipping of her heels being the only sound echoing down the room, save for the quiet whirr of the computer monitor.]

And really, you could use a hair cut, and maybe a few brushes as I'm sure you'd snap a few and they'd get lost in that thing you call hair. [You'd think she's be worried about her safety, but that would mean backing down. Really, what's the worst that could happen.]

[Keep talking, Santana, its only making that unsettling grin spread wider. Dualscar could wait. The entire tower could wait. It had been a while since she was one on one with an adversary -- everyone in Animus had made a point of confronting her in a group, which was detrimental when her lusus and armies weren't here to back her up.

The trident moves to both hands. Her approach hasn't stopped. In all honesty, she could almost admire the human's bravado.

Though she was more under the impression that it was complete stupidity that was in control here.]

[Part of it was probably stupidity, but most of it was stubbornness. She has very few friends in the tower and her best friend isn't here at all so she's been a bit grouchy pretty much ever since she got here. Besides, starting conflicts is kind of her thing, and she's totally okay with that. This fight, she knows it's going to become a fight, may as well be for old time's sake.]

Do you not speak English. [she switches to Spanish] Any better?

[She merely scoffs at the question and wastes no time seeking to impale Santana with the trident the moment she's in range. She'll aim for the stomach to give the girl enough time to see what she's done before she bleeds to death, if she happens to connect.]

[It does connect, hits the target straight on. Santana thought she was bluffing and would stop the trident right before it hit her stomach. Obviously she was wrong. Santana's eyes are wide with shock as she reaches out to grab the trident, clutching onto the middle prong]
