[and answering, not without a moment's difficulty-- the door creaking open just a fraction at first, and then fully as dualscar realizes the expected guest. his sword rests in his left and only hand, where the other is only an empty and tattered sleeve. he stands aside so as to give her entrance, saving the proper bow for just afterward.

if the lack of limb is of any significance whatsoever, he doesn't have it seem so.

[all right well, he sincerely hopes his battle-worn sleeve isn't offending her or anything, but if it is? dualscar won't take that chance. using his teeth, he lifts it for the fabric to become taut and then proceeds to cut it a clean sweep with his weapon.

he lets the sheered fabric fall to his otherwise occupied hand, catches it. but if that wasn't the case at all, well, +1 for dramatics then.
