I'm pretty sure it's December now, that means Christmas! Or Hanukkah. Or Kwanza. I don't think there are other holidays in December. [she looks like she's trying to think of more December holidays, but she shakes her head, nope, no more] We should give each other gifts or something. Maybe do a secret Santa! Or whoever gives gifts on Hanukkah and Kwanza. Do you get gifts for Kwanza? Anyway we can make each other gifts with stuff in the tower!

We have christmas! [He grins over the camera] But I don't know what a secret santa is!

[He pauses as he thinks] Wait, don't you give gifts in January not December? [He grins again]

A secret Santa is when you put everyone's name in a hat and everyone picks one and then you need to buy a gift for that person! That way you only need to buy one person a gift and not everyone and everyone gets the same number of gifts!

No silly, you give gifts on December 25th! That's Christmas!

Oh that's a good idea! I wanna do that!

[He shakes his head] No on christmas you are meant to go to church and have a special meal but you give presents later in January, the... [He counts] sixth day after the year changes. Because that's when the wise men got to Jesus!

I've never heard about that before! But we don't go to church or do anything about Jesus really, it's all about presents and food and family.

Oh [He frowns] But isn't christmas meant to be Jesus' birthday? That's like... if no one came to say happy birthday to you and just went and had fun without you on your birthday.

[He looks sad but then he smiles again] We should make special food! Miss France can help us, I am sure she will if we ask her nicely!

But Jesus isn't here so why do we gotta do something for his birthday! That's like having a party for me when I'm not going to be there, that's just silly! But since we know he's not gonna be around because he's never around then we can just have fun for ourselves and not worry about him!

Panettone! [He frowns] I don't know how to make it though, I only had it once at Doctor Casella's but he told me that it was what everyone in Milano ate at christmas. It's a cake... maybe we can find a recepie in the library!
