[He gets to his feet, reaching for Sollux, to put his arms around him. Maybe he can give him a little something...just something, to remind him that Sollux wants HIM as his kismesis, not his ancestor]

[Gently, he hugs Eridan back.] He'th fucking terrifying...

[His jaw drops at the admission] Did he hurt you?

Nah, I haven't even theen him in perthon yet. I've haven't been avoiding him tho much ath jutht never leaving my new rethpite block. Not like I've been mithhing out on much. There'th nothing really to do here.

[And Eridan suddenly remembers why he hates you, Sollux]

He deservves some kind a respect for bein' a leader in his owwn time. Evven if sea dwwellers are considered loww noww, he's not used to that. [He growls and headbutts Sollux on the temple] Just goes to showw wwhat I'vve been sayin' all along. That there's nothin' superior about either end a the spectrum.

Ow! [It barely hurt, but it did shock him, and Sollux is pouting slightly as he rubs his temple with the palm of his hand.]

Yeah, I guethh you're right. Now just eckthplain that to him, and I'll feel better.

[Oh wow, this is really...sweet. He shifts and scoots back, leaning against the headboard, but hooks his fingers in the back of Sollux' shirt and drags him back ungently with him]

I don't knoww, it's wweird. But okay, I guess. Seems less dangerous than bein' your Agent.
