... I believe there's either something I've somehow missed here or your intent is to play some manner of joke at my expense. More an Egbert's area, wouldn't you say?

Well it IS an Egbert thing, but! I am definitely not Jade! In my universe, Jade Harley is my DnD character, until our DM made us make new characters. I have a friend whose character is Dave Strider, and two more who play John Egbert and Rose Lalonde. So I figure you must be from a universe where our campaign is real, but you guys had different families!

[She is slowly coming to understand the concept of Alternate Universes.]

And the circumstances behind this rerolling of characters?

Uuuhm, well apparently our session of Sburb was already super messed up because it had a bomb instead of normal...stuff and some stuff about paradoxspace. Then Jade's pet god dog first guardian prototyped itself into her kernelsprite and Jack Noir stole the Black Queen's ring turning him into an unstoppable mutant, so our party decided to Scratch the session. Our characters escaped the universe before the Scratch was finished so it should have been fine, but our DM is a butt and made us reroll anyway.

And then Doc Scratch became Lord English and Dick confiscated our old character sheets. [UNAMUSED.]

So the same mistakes were made, though it seems your player characters [he nearly spits the phrase, finding it appropriate for how they were all fucking pawns of fate] had significantly greater fortunes.

Um...I guess so...? I mean I am pretty sure we all died at least once and a lot of the trolls died too. I think the only good stroke was that Jade was immune to Jack Noir since when they prototyped with her First Guardian pet dog, it transferred its loyalty to Jack. And I know Lord English is supposed to herald the end of a universe, so I do not even know what that is about. We just keep playing because most of us are too stubborn to give up, even if it is not actually happening to us..
