Something tells me that my world’s not actually been destroyed. Because my world? It’s pretty destructo-proof. We’ve proven that. A couple times, actually. We’re like cockroaches, cut off our heads and we come right back. And some letter saying that you saved me from the big bad--

And anyway, if my world had been destroyed, you would’ve saved Buffy, not me. Probably Will, too. I’m not usually the guy that gets picked for these sort of things -- it’s like how I always picked last for dodgeball and put on the bench. I’d probably get picked last for who gets to live in the brand new world order, too.

So, uh, you maybe wanna tell me what’s actually going on? ‘Cause the fake letter really isn’t gonna cut it.

I do not think I am the type that they would usually save either-- there are a lot of amazing people here and I am kind of just a normie! So your guess is as good as mine. No one around here seems to have a very good idea of what is going on exactly, or who it is that is doing this. I thought maybe it is some kind of experiment, but that seems like it is too easy.

So they haven't been doing any kind of experimentations? Even with these uh... collar, things? [ sigh ] At least there's that much good news.

Um. I still think the collars are possibly slowly poisoning us or something but I need to think of another theory besides that.

There was an um...thing where they had a bunch of people do stuff in the basements or something. [Her voice fell a bit at this part.] I have no idea why; it seems like in those really old science fiction horror movies with an evil scientist doing immoral experiments, but I have no idea what the point is.

Think that's maybe why we're here, so they can perform experiments on us? Frankenstein-style?

I thought that might be it, especially with the collars. Maybe it is a psychological thing instead of a medical thing? Because I do not know if there is any consistency with the stuff they have been doing.

What other kinda stuff have they been doing?

Uuummm... Oh! When I first came here a bunch of people had apparently disappeared or something, and went off into these weird little worlds. I do not know much about what happened though, or anything before that, since that was around the time I woke up here.

Yeeeaaah it was kind of weird. This place does all sorts of weird stuff like that, seeing as I am pretty sure there is no way anything about this place makes any structural sense. At all. Ever.
