You mean you can bring about the rain at will?

I don't know much about the weather here, but I enjoyed the change in weather very much

[...Was that a question?]

Rain is my favorite kind of weather, so of course I did. It's so refreshing, don't you think?

I suppose it had some disadvantages, but it nourishes the earth and feels simply wonderful to bask in. Not to mention the fresh clean scent that remains afterward. Rain is like a blessing from the heavens, in my opinion.

Do they? Well, most people don't care for the rain since it complicates many tasks and can make them sick or weak. I suppose living in the desert has colored my view on the subject.

I have a residence there, yes. Most people assume it's empty, but if one bothered to look, one could find all sorts of life flourishing there. It's quite inspirational.

A different type of desert than mine, then; mine didn't have the shifting sand as much, so more plants were able to take root.

I don't know about guays and leevers, but aren't they too a type of life? You shouldn't be so narrow in your definitions. Why, otherwise I wouldn't include antlions as part of desert life.

Then I have misunderstood you. I unreservedly apologize.

I must add that there's mostly likely more life than you could see. Reptiles and insects in particular can be hardy enough for that environment. Surely you've heard warnings about scorpions or snakes?

I see. I'm sure they would appreciate the rain as much as I do.

[Not going to lie, he was a little more than surprised when it suddenly began raining in the workshop, but seeing this after he got back drenched was enough of a hint as to why.]

It's alright. It's just a little rain.

[C-compared to what usually happens when it rains back home.]

Are you OK?

It'll dry up soon. Try not to beat yourself up too much; we all make mistakes.

So you are the one to blame for what happened to my books?

[ Luckily, being behind a screen, Gandalf won't treat you like he would, say, treat Pippins. ]

It is fine young man, but you should be more careful when it comes to magic. Everything can happen in this tower.

Most of my magic works. I believe your 'songs' will work as long as their effect do not break the natural laws of this tower.

As I have said it is fine. Just be careful in the futur. There could have been capital information in those books.

[ Now Gandalf, that's not nice to say things like that. ]

The best you can do is test your songs in an isolated place. The cathedral floor is best suited, large and few people ever set foot there. Have someone with you for they assist you in case something goes wrong.

You could say vital, important information.
