Perhaps not as ever, but you're not a great talker are you? Silent as the grave at times.

I did not post to talk, I posted for others to.

If that is all you know, there is nothing else to talk about.

And I am talking. That's far from all I know. Again, I know many things, but if not the answer to your first question. It may be that only our keepers know the answer to that.

What else do you wish to know? I know of researchers, experiments.

Of what they have done here?

Behavioral experiments, for a start. Forcing people to fight to the death, studying their reaction to trauma, physical and mental. Altering their abilities, perhaps even their genetic and molecular structure.

Their technological capabilities are impressive.

Tragic.

Oh, not at all. It's quite fascinating. Their methodology is sound.

But then, I don't believe in the concept of tragedy. It's so emotional, irrational.

Emotion motivates change; less it is instinct that drives an organism to act.

Tragedy is yet just another foundation. Do you shun all emotion?

That's absurd. Labeling an event a tragedy is emotional rather than factual. Emotion is not a cognitive state, nor is it necessary; it serves no purpose in the wild. One might even consider it maladaptive, which is not a matter of me "shunning" it.

One can have change without emotion, and in fact, most organisms do not experience it. Even fewer organisms have a concept of "tragedy", so don't be ridiculous.

Emotion serves order in all classes of organisms. It serves purpose in many of their functions:

Adaptation, survival of the fittest, pheromones, procreation. Instinct and emotion both have importance in change.

It can be trying to talk to someone who lacks even the understanding of basic concepts.

Adaptation, survival, pheromones, procreation: none of those are dependent on emotion, which is an affective state of consciousness. Some emotions among humans have such a negative impact on behavior that they are, as I said, maladaptive.

I will grant you fear. Fear can be useful.

I very much hope this is some poor attempt at humor, or else you are even less intelligent than I thought.

It isn't doubtful in the least, as sufficient scientific evidence exists to support my statements. But do go on believing your irrational falsehoods! Much good may it do you.

Likewise, if someone informed me human respiration involved sulfur and phosphorus instead of oxygen and carbon dioxide, I would not bother to dredge up the research to refute their idiotic claim.

Again, you demonstrate a false assumption. If you do not know who I am, how can you confidently claim I do not know you?

I've come to the point where I do not care.

About emotions or my identity?

If both, your lack of curiosity is astounding, which I suppose is worthy of note.

Then note it.

I did so some time ago. You are confirming an earlier hypothesis, no more, not that your failings are of any great interest to me.

Do you believe that our worlds have been destroyed?

No.

At least there's that. Skepticism is a positive attribute. I don't believe anything we're told here, and I would recommend that others show similar critical thought. But critical thought is such a lot to expect of most people.

I wonder if we'll meet. It could be interesting. But then, we never did seem to get along, did we? Not that it's difficult to see why.
