[When the video turns on, the figure is clearly frustrated and distrustful, if not looking very exhausted. Honey-colored eyes are dulled and strained, her skin a ghostly shade of pale, a single bandage pressing against the right side of her cheek. Fingers grasp at the top of the note she had been reading, lips pulling in a frown.]

This can’t be right and it isn’t funny. I’m in no mood for jokes right now, so I demand an explanation for this.

[Lowering the note beside her on the bed, Elena gently rubbed at the side of her head, giving a slight wince. She had been under constant watch for the last 48 hours, being pumped full of Cure and Restore to mend internal and external injuries. But clearly she wasn’t entirely healed, which earned a frown.]

Also, what was with the paralysis? Did somebody drug me while I was sleeping to perform a relocation? This isn’t the room I was in last…

So we're just expected to accept the letter and this...this collar without questioning it? There has to be a way to find out who is responsible and what their motives are.

There are already people trying to find the truth to the situation. Our so-called destroyed worlds can be viewed, though I still don't buy it.

You can search for them yourself; I am still looking.

The fifth floor. That's where you'll find the so-called destroyed worlds.

So they're on display in what I assume is a trophy room?

More like an observatory of sorts.

Interesting. And are the planets actually being shown as destroyed?

As a wasteland at any rate. Close enough to being destroyed, according to those running this tower.

[That's rather heartbreaking to think about. If the Planet was really in such a state, then they clearly lost the fight.]

I guess I'll have to make a trip myself to confirm it. Not that I don't take your word on it, of course. Seeing is believing.

Sure. I'll continue to investigate on my end as well.

One more thing before you go though: beware traveling at night. Creatures will roam the halls, some more powerful than others, and extremely deadly. [Like the Deathclaw, when Hei and Minako had to work together to fully kill.]

Wonderful. The more people we can get to look into our situation and get more information, the better. Surely we'll find something that will help us survive, if not figure out how much of what they're telling us is truth or not.

Ah - Thank you for the heads up. It would not have ended well if I'd been out looking for information after hours and been surprised by one. Is it safe to assume they present themselves after sundown?

Rarely, they appear in the day, but in the night, they appear far more frequently in greater strength and number. Currently, night groups are being formed to patrol the floors.

Hnnn..... interesting. I'm wondering if there is some sort of pattern to their appearances, but that would require some investigation and consultation of some others who have been here longer. But at least it sounds like there are some that are proactively preventing any incidents.

If I may ask, how long have you been here yourself?
